i think gay people were born gay.
the story was
i got a friend who has depression,
he used to be straight, he had sex with women, and he had a girlfrend.(i am very sure he was straight)
while he was really sick(depression), he told me he 'turned' to gay.
can a straight man turn to gay? or he was just too sick, and confused himself?

Do you believe in God? He made Adam and eve, and told them to be fruitful and multiply, how can 2 men, or 2 women do that? I have heard that a chimical inbalance can be responsable for someone having feelings like that, they either need more female hormones or male hormones, depends on their sex.

People are not born gay. I am a gay person and i thought that people was born gay as well. At 40 I learned of gender dysphoria, i was born with it, though some people have learned characteristics that cause them to show gender dysphoria. It is a separate issue than being gay, then I remembered when at 4 i formed a sexual attraction on same gender. I had forgotten that incident, but the emotion remained. Children forget what they do as they grow up. If your friend always felt he was gay or had sexual attractions to same gender, perhaps you can tell him or ask him if he can remember when he first became attracted to same gender? He may be confused and finally accepted or he may have just chose to do this at this time in his life. Only he has the answer, but he was not born gay, people are not born gay. Children do not choose but they are influenced and then they do not have the knowledge to make best choices.

of course you can turn gay. He probally is BI. yeah, it most of the time something your born with but there are exceptions.
