Why do parents feel the need to be their sons/daughters buddy instead of disciplining them (in a loving way of course). These parents usually end up with a whiny, spoiled, miserable child. Do they not realize that young children not only need discipline, they want it. It provides routine and structure, it's very comforting to them. What do you think?

I am not saying that i am a dishonest person because i believe in telling the truth the majority of the time but in certain situations i believe it is better to hide the truth then to hurt someone's feelings whom you care about!I will give you a few examples: Situation # 1 You go out to the bar one night and have a few too many drinks and you end up going home with your cousin who is also your good friend's ex boyfriend,you wake up the next morning knowing without a doubt that you made a mistake and you truely regret it..do you tell your friend right away or do you keep it a secret and hope she will never ever find out?Situation # 2 you meet and fall in love with a guy and in telling him about your past relationships you don't admit to how many sexual partnerrs you had because he had just the one and you know if you tell him the truth he wouldn't think you were so great and would probably leave you...do you say you only had 3 when in fact it was 10 or risk it and tell the truth?

I have a problem with people who adopt children. Why?!? Well, after seeing the effects of my husbands' mother and father on him, I don't know if I trust the adoption system. Being adopted, then his parents, had their own blood child, and the favortism is so obvious. His parents have been cruel and ruthless to him. He is the best father, provider, husband, and man I have ever met in the entirety of my life. Everything we do is centered around our family and our children. His parents treat him like dirt, talk down to him, threaten him with disinheritance, talk down to our children and call them names. We have pretty much decided to stay away.
When we married, we didn't even get a card. When his sister married they gave her land, and helped her buy a house.
My husband joined the Military for 8 years, paid his own education.
His sisters education, living expenses, spending money for 6 years paid for totally by his parents.The list goes on. I would do anything for my husband and family

Stupid one....
Now she hasn't even call me ore anything. Me either cause it wasn't my fault she got mad at me for something really stupid, cause i didn't go with her to a party!!! I was dating a guy for a couple of years he was a big pot head on and off then i joined the army and went to korea when i came back him and i slept together and i got pregnant i found out while i was away his drug problem got worse. his current drug choice was heroin you name the drug he has done it. any way i have a happy healthy beautiful baby girl now. and at first i gave him a chance to see her. he claims that he is clean now bla bla. In the mist of all of this i found an awesome man and we are engaged he has done soo much for her and considers her to be his daughter. i stopped letting her biological father see her. im still in the service and i cant go on leave very often to see family. He gets outraged when i tell him we not coming back. the situation is more and more volatile every time we talk. is it right for me to keep her from her? I have been seeing this much younger woman and I suport her completely We are several 100 miles from each other she has five kids I support also. My bf and I broke up and he didn't give me a reason why. But when him and I were still together I called him up and I asked him what he was thinking about and he said his game b/c he is a gamer.
