People who are telling you the truth will look you in the eye and very calmly state something. They also won't get upset when if you don't believe them. Liars get very fidgity and uncomfortable and very upset if you challenge their statements. Also, trust your gut. If you're questioning that person, chances are you already know.

i guess u'll never TRULY know... unless u Truly trust them. if u really trust someone, u cannot keep accusing them of lying unless u want to test the relationship.. on the same token, u cannot keep lying to someone and expect them to always trust you! i guess it's a matter of time, and the way people act, and how they think and what they say.. u have to weigh all of that and accept that if u trust this person with ur feelings, and they can trust u with their feelings, that's all u can do. if they deceive u, u can figure out what to do then.
there are things that help u tho... intuition, if u feel like something's wrong. also, the way people act, or if they say one thing and do another..they are indicators that something is wrong. u will know if u truly trust someone.. and if they abuse that trust, it is Their fault, and not urs. if u give them a 2nd chance cuz u love them, fine. if they take advantage and do it again, u know it is a trend, that the person is NOT trustworthy. sometimes it's not even love that is the problem.. it's if the person has enough respect for you to treat u right and not lie or cheat... they may love u, but doesn't mean they will automatically treat u w/ respect. u have to expect it, and earn it.

The movement of the eyes are the KEY. If there eyes move up it means there are remembering something but that its going to be true. If they look down there thinking of a response, but there answer will be lying. And if there eyes dilate, like the pupil gets bigger then smaller really quickly, it means they told a lie.
good luck

You never will know for sure unless you do some researching behind the person's back that you think is lying to you. Alot of people are very skilled at lying to anyone, so what I always do if I think someone is lying to me is I do some investigating of my own behind their backs. Good Luck and happy hunting!

It's very hard to tell. Some ppl tweek their eyebrows when lying. Looking into someone's eyes and telling a lie is not hard to do. There is no specific way to know.

TRUTH:
TWO YR OLDS "LIE"
WE ARE SOCIALLY CONDITIONED THAT IF ITS NOT BOTH KIND AND NECESSARY A "LIE" IS PREFERABLE.
1 AVOIDS HURT FEELINGS YOUR NOT FAT
2 PROTECT PRIVATE FACTS $, HEIGHT, WEIGHT, ETC
THIS DIFFERES FROM "BEARING FALSE WITNESS" THAT CREATES HARM TO ANOTHER.
SPECIFIC, DETAILED QUESTIONS; HELP
DID YOU HAVE SEX FALSE INDICATOR AS
GENERAL, VAGUE, BROAD QUESTIONS ARE MISLEADING!!
* VOLUNTARILY
* AT THE TIME
* DATES, TIMES
* ABLE TO CONSENT?
OFTEN AN OPEN HAND OR HAND TO CHEST GESTURE, IN WESTERN CULTURES, IS TRUTH AND SINCERITY. IT MAY VARY CULTURE TO CULTURE ??
EYES:
DO THEIR PUPILS DILATE OR CONTRACT?
THAT IS A "GUILT" DETECTOR!!
CAREFUL, THEY MAY "FEEL" DEFENSIVE
OR BE EXPRESSING
DISPLACED OR GENERALIZED GUILT
FINDING TRUTH QUESTIONS NEED TO BE
SPECIFIC TIME, DATE, AT THE TIME
MAY LOOK UP LEFT OR RIGHT
MAY HAVE TROUBLE WITH EYE CONTACT, BUT
MANY SHY, SUBORDINATE, ABUSED, INSECURE, PEOPLE AVOID EYE CONTACT TOO.
SO THAT IS AN INDICATOR OF MANY THINGS

eye contact. If a person is looking everywhere else, but at you, they may be lying and sometimes people who lie have too many details with their story, or when asked the details change frequently.

Go with your gut - if you think someone is lying they probably are. There are always body signals of some sort - cant look you in the eye, fidgety, something...
