The Butler was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murderer. Who did it and how did they know?

My wife has expressed an interest in something she has read about called the Around Her Finger movement...where woman accept the role of head of household and men more or less follow their leadership. Is this common? Has anyone ever heard of it? Emily Addison is supposed to be the woman that came up with, or rather popularized, the idea. Anyone ever heard of her? I'm intrigued. It appeals to me for some almost primal reason, but I'm nervous about giving up control.

Is there actually a reason why (the ones I’ve seen) women tend to go to guys that beat the crap out of them (yes physically), over the nicer guys? When I first met him he payed no attention to me. He was a very quiet and self-centered person. But lately he has been paying a lot of attention to me. Flirting with me, saying seductive things to me, staring at me, and hugging me. I'm used to things like that from my friends, but I've never seen this guy do anything like that before, especially to me. I think he likes me but I'm not sure, especially since our ages differ by a few years. My 3 year old daughter announced today that her little brother was outside with no shoes on. She followed this up with "He has only got his toes on".

Quite matter of fact and does make some sense when you think about it! Kids express themselves in such a simple way of viewing the world. Would love to hear any other such observations.
