You only really know if somebody loves you if they want to spend time with you that does not lead to anything like sex.
Thats the only way.

Love is a mutual feeling. If he likes you he will say so. Love takes time don't rush into it yet.

if you truly trust and love him it shouldn't be something that you need to say, somehow you just know.
But seriously tell him to marry you and divide everything that's his in half with you, that's the best way to know for sure

You have to be with them alot to understand them. If they act serious, they're serious, if they laugh afterwards, they're not. Ask them for real. Say: "Did you really mean that?"
