No way cause this can only lead to trouble. If not at the game than on the drive home. Its better that if they think they need to drink that they do it in the privacy of their own home when the children are not home.

That Depends. If a parent wants to have lets say a beer before their childrens sporting event, sure. If its more than a beer then i would say no.If a parent drinks before the sporting event,I mean ALOT,then they are going to go to the sporting event drunk. They are going to humiliate their child, and themselves.Often times adults when drunk, get very angry and lose their temper easily. That wouldnt be a good idea especially if you are going to attend your childs sporting event. If you are the transportation then No alcohol should be consumed at all. So,my answer is a beer before a sporting event sure, going overboard and getting totally drunk,Not ok.If your driving its not ok either.

I don't think it's a very good idea. First, you'd have to drive your children there. Second, depending on the sport and the area there can be a lot of pressure and tension during these games. Adding alcohol to the mix where there's already a chance of altercation really isn't the best idea. Third, if they suck that bad you have to drink to enjoy them, maybe you should steer them towards the arts.

Not really a good idea . Escially if you are driving . According ot Crime stats most crime ata sporting event f for children involves adults who have been drinking
So wait till after the game and then have a cold one at home !

no, but that;s all the drunks in my town do........drink before the game, and DURING! they act like they're in junior high, sneaking beer into the games with label hiders. it's a bad example for the kids to see their parents always drinking. another thing the parents do, is to drop their kids off at practice, then sit at the bar until practice is over. too many teens are killed in drunk driving accidents, but usually the drunk behind the wheel is a parent.

No. It sets a bad example for the kids & then SOMEBODY has to drive them home. Then you also need to consider all the news stories about parents who go psycho at their kids sporting events...and then to add alcohol to that???

I say NO NO NO NO
because children and alcohol dont mix
what if you yelled something that would embarrass your kid? or did something embarrassing?its just not worth the risk, what about driving?
its just disrespectful to do that to kids...
all the other parents are thinking OMG,what a trashy parent...among other things, then what if they said it infront of your kid...your kid hears it from their kid...my mom said your dad/mom is a drunk etc...
just a thought.........
