I believe that a person who is 14 or 15 can experience love, but they don't have the emotional maturity or experience to handle a long-term relationship at that age. So yes, at the time, you may truly "love" the person, meaning you want the best for them and aren't jealous of them talking to other people, and you feel your life is complete when you're around them because they fill up a part of you that you didn't know was missing. However, you just don't have the maturity to handle adversity that comes your way for it to form a lasting relationship, WITH THE RARE EXCEPTION. I will admit that there might be a 14 or 15 year old who is mature enough, but I would bank that they would be 1 in several million.

Yes, you can be in love at 14 or 15... Love is an emotion, just like hate, fear, happiness, sadness and joy.

Now, do I think that you can find your only true love at that age? Maybe... but I wouldn't make any long range plans based upon your emotions at that age.

Your body is going through a lot of chemical changes, and that will affect your emotions. The feelings you have for someone now may not be there in a few years.

So, my answer to you, is yes... you can be in love. Just be careful what you do with it, as things will most definately change in time...

I dont really think so because at that age one is still discovering himself of herself and "True love" at that age just seems so perfect it it kind of unreal because you just want to be with that person all the time and sometimes kisses can be the solutions of conflicts. Once you are near hitting adulthood 17 or `18 feelings become more mature and people do fall in love. JUST ENJOY. Love at age 14 and 15 is beautiful .. very innocent and tender.. :)

You are in love with whoever you choose to be in love with and commit yourself to. I say no at 14 because your brain isn't even fully developed until 25 so why brainwash yourself and lock yourself into wrapping your mind and life around a person when you've barely glimpsed the world around you and have yet to even learn who you are.
