More couples are "enhancing" their sex lives by allowing someone else in (pun intended). Does it help or hurt in the long run?

I only hang around people that make me comfortable and some people make me uncomfortable. I do not talk to or hang around with these people yet other people say I'm racist for not talking to or hanging out with those people. I think ultimately that other people's "thinking" or thoughts should stay in their head.

i mean its basically insulting a man by calling him a female body part, basically saying he is a b*tch and that women are naturally wusses.

I've been dating a man for a few months now. I'm not interested in getting married (at least not at this time) but some day I hope that will be the case. However recently he gave me a sex toy for a gift. Is that a sign that he only wants one thing and a long term relationship is unlikely?

You know there is something. Mine always leave the shaving cream out on the bathroom sink, rather than put it away. Nothing else, always the shaving cream. bugs me.

I really like her but I can't see me taking her to meet my family if she's going to use language like that. It would be embarrassing. I also don't think it's right to try to change people from who they are. But is there a way to get her to see that it's unattractive. I'm no perfect angel myself but I don't use more that a couple of expletives per day. She is more like a couple per sentence.

I'm 22, my husband is 28 and we have a 7 month old baby together. Whenever we go out he looks at females, young ones, old ones, especially if they are in short skirts and it breaks my heart so bad. I feel like trash. =(

i was with my ex for 2 1/2 years. i was so in love with him. to be honest, i still am. even though i've just found him to be a cheater on alleged cheater websites. although to be fair i had suspected he cheated on me several times. he was my whole world. i thought we'd always be together and that i truely was the only one.
we have a baby together. who he doesn't support.
i must be crazy to still have feelings for him after all the things i've found out recently. to realize that he lied about everything. i trusted him and believed everything he said.
i feel physically weak and sick. and have headaches from thinking about him all the time.
my friends say what is this hold that he has over you? just move on. but i've been finding it so hard to do just that.
he's the love of my life and was my first serious boyfriend.
he just upt and left, left me holding the baby.
im so sad. so down. heading towards depression.
is there hope for me. to stop this pain and find happiness again?

This question is kind of personal... but I was reading this heartwarming story, and this topic came up. It made me think of what was important in life and in a chosen significant other. Would you want someone who you would undoubtably get along with because they shared everything with you, opinions and insights? Or would you want your opposite, to have someone who you can absorb insights and thoughts from, and they can from you? There's that trite saying-- opposites attract. But maybe there's something to that-- that your opposite may complete you, although someone similar to you would probably be easier to get along with...

I'd love to hear your insights on this topic.
