Hi there. I saw your 'question/rant' about this area of Answers turning into teen central. You'd mentioned your questions not getting much attention. So, here I am! How very ironic that I should go to the most recent question, other than your teen rant, and find that you're asking about bdsm. If you took a gander at my profile you could probably figure out where I stand as far as sub or dom. I havn't looked at your profile and I'm in a bit of a rush so I have no idea which you are. I'm just going to go with the odds and say dom, but I'm not going to try putting that in concrete.

Oh, and as far as this only getting one answer. Sometimes people feel like answering specific sex type questions. Other times I've noticed no one will touch it. Maybe next time people will swarm to a bdsm question.

I suppose that I'll have to admit that I'm into BDSM. I pretty much a switch, although I don't have a lot of Dominant experience. I'm located somewhere in North America. :-)

The best way to find local groups is to look for them through a search engine, using terms like the locality that you're in and BDSM as search parameters. Either you'll happen upon the website of a group or an on line directory of groups for the area. Many groups use an on line forum (including Yahoo Groups) to communicate. If you're in a small town, you probably want to look for a group based in a nearby city as that's most likely to be successful.

Honestly, there's no way to tell what your role is based on your profile. I'll cover my bases and say that your a switch too. At least I stand a chance of being half-right. :-)

As for finding local groups in your area try searching for "munches" within your area. A munch is a meeting of like minded people, usually in a bar/pub/restaurant where you can meet & talk to people, learn from them and get known by others into BDSM in your area. This is one of the best ways to get involved, you will find a community out there who will try to help you

I consider myself a slave. And, yes, I do have a Master -- for the past six years. He became my husband not quite three years ago.

One thing I've learned is that it's impossible to guess someone's orientation based on looks. I've addressed very confident and self-assured men as Sir, only to have them tell me they're submissive. I've seen very quiet and reserved men who are, in actuality, very strong Masters. In fact, the best Masters I've known are those who don't have to "put on a show," who simply know what they want and aren't afraid to go out and get it -- without being a bully.
