1. Is it possible to ask a girl out if she is not your friend?

2. Why would a girl rather go out with a friend, it can only ruin the friendship.

3. What is the big deal with going on a date with a stranger in a public place? you will find out real quick if he is a freak or not.

WFT, what is the big deal with going out with someone you dont know, or getting asked out by someone you dont know?

i am 20 years old and the guy that i am in a relationship with is ten almost 11 years older than me. i like being in the relationship and being with him, but i do fear that i will have to grow up and i won't be able to have fun in these fun years to come when being with some one that is almost ready to settle down. i don't feel that i am ready to settle down and he understands that, but i don't want to miss the possible fun in my future by being with him. would i have to grow up to fast be being with him?

I sent my boyfriend to Cali to visit his family, i got off work at 10 and was supposed to call him. I was a little late but he left me a message on my cell saying that he didn't want me to call he was going to bed and i should call in the morning. He's never done that before and he told me there was a girl down there that really liked him three years ago. I had called the house before i got his message and it was busy! What do i do?

Ok first of all I am happy with who I am. I am happy with the way I look and the person im becoming. I dont always have the greatest confidence though. I have been the more shy person most of my life. Right now im an upper classman in high school but sometimes the whole dating thing makes me feel bad. I dont really want a boyfriend right now (age and maturity...) but ive never been asked out which sometimes gets to me. Im not the ditzy, flirty blonde but still wonder sometimes if there is something wrong with me. I tell myself it doesnt matter but it still bothers me a little. Anybody have any advice?

Well we have been seperated for about 5 months now.....But now i want her back..!! Well it all starts with her parants, they just kept interfearing in our relationship.. And after we relocated i could cense that she was unhappy and mist them..but before I knew it they were moving to the same town within a month....U See i just wanted time for us to settle intogether and re-just ourselfs to our new lives and our jobs. There were also health concerns that i needed time to get through before allowing her family to interfere... but i blew it.!! she told me that they were moving down...and i lost my temper...and told her i didnt lover her anymore and that she should now be happy livin with mummy and daddy..!!! so i stormed out to clear my head, halfway to the beach 15min latter i called her to apologize but she had left and was on her way back to her perants place.... A week later she came back for her things and that was that she wont see me or speek to me..!but i feel that belong togeth

well, i spoke to my ex again. shes been pounding the thopught of getting back together last week, and i was mean about it. i called back a day later, said sorry and felt really bad about it. we were all good, no hard feelings...then i gave into the thought of getting back together, she said these words. "idk if we should again now, like, sometimes i do sometimes i dont...but like, 95% ofg the time i want to be with you"
1st off, that doesnt seem normal to me...who says 95% of the time...and then she said, i wanna be with you more then half of the time but then sometimes i dont..
shes been pounding the idea of getting back together when i didnt give in, now i gave in and she says that.
what the hell do i do with this girl.
not only that, i have a good friend who has feelings for me and same here for her...and she wants to be with me, and i;d like to explore it but fear throwing away something with the ex...i need some advice!

My baby's father and I have a very turbulent relationship. He broke up with me shortly (a week) after I found out we were expecting a child. I was 15 weeks at the time.
He has been very uninvolved ever since and one of the biggest stress factors i have to deal with. We rarely ever speak but when we do it is to fight over paternal rights he thinks he is entitiled to yet wishes none of the actual responsibilities.

Being in the hospital has always been a very stressful thing for me and I doubt very seriously that having a c-section is going to be any easier. I don't want him anywhere near me while I am in the hospital. I dont think it would be healthy but I DO NOT want to deny him access to our child.
He's not a bad person, he just makes bad choices, he's mentally ill , chemically dependent (in recovery for over 2 years now!) and has a lot of growing up to do. I dont want him there. My question is: Was your father present at your birth? If not why? and does it affect you negatively?

Im a 31 year old male, and i have been single all my life. I was very shy as a child, and was picked on in school. I always dreamed of meeting the right person to make my life complete, but im afraid to put myself out there. To be a successful dater, i think you need to be confident. You need to move from date to date without letting one person's drama hurt your feelings that keep you from ever dating again. In ways you gotta forget the terrible past , and move on. I hate the thought of the process. Seeing dating shows on television keeps me withdrawn from the dating scene even more.

Ive been talking and hanging with this girl thats kind of shy now for about 2 months now. It took a while for me to break her out of her shell but I did it. I can really make her laugh and she choose to be around me most of the time. And we both can be personal with each other. My friends tell me that im thinking to much of it and that for all i know she might not like me. And sometimes i cant to belive them because i don't know how she feels about me.
