Why do people have sex for fun? i dont think thats right. the point of sex is to be closer to some one you love, true it does not have to be with in a marrage but it should not just be given to some stranger you meet at a club. giving it to your girl friend or fioncae(how the hell if that spelt) if just fine but not to your friend steve.

I've been friends with this person since high school. We use to hang out together, but i always hated the way he treated women. He hooked up with this real good woman. Me and her eventually became good friends also, but never did i try to get with her. She fell in love with him, and told him, she loved him. Yet, he didn't feel the same way because he didn't love her, all he cared about was the sex. And i told him, hey you got a good woman, you need to do right by her, but he didn't listen, sayin he couldn't be with just one woman. She eventually caught on and dumped him. Yet we remained friends. He feels that i'm wrong, to continue being friends with her, since she dumped him. My question is, am i wrong and should stop being friends with her. Or should i just ignore him. I mean i'm not even trying to get with her, we're just friends.

I am 27, and she is 23. I teach High School in a town that is in upstate New York. She was a grad. student in the same town that I teach in. I met her as a substitute teacher who was working in my building. In June, she graduated, and moved back home to her parents house (3 hours away) due to the lack of a job. I took her on vacation for 2 weeks in July, and I informally (no ring?!!) asked her to marry me. She said yes that day, but now wants to wait. The distance is rough. I really love her, and would die for her if that was a situation that was encountered. I don't know what to do. I've asked her to move here, but she hates the area. Should I try to keep the relationship going?

My dad used to be an alcoholic back when he was 20. When he met my mom, he went through a treatment center and has stayed sober for twenty years. Now, since that 20 year mark has passed, my dad has been drinking again. I'm not supposed to know but my mom let it slip. He refuses to go through a treatment center, saying he'd rather kill himself than go through treatment again. My mom said she is just going to leave, but things are so bad, I know that if she leaves, she isn't coming back. What makes things worse is that my brother Mike, who is 19, is following in his footsteps. He comes home at all hours of the night. We find booze in his truck day after day. He is getting out of control. Yet, my dad doesn't care. My mom is the one who deals with it. My family is falling apart. Now, we had a family vacation planned for this week, we are supposed to leave tonight. Yet, we aren't going. I could care less....I wanna know how to help my family not fall apart! I don't know what to do...

I'm a fraternity guy and quite sick of hearing girls make comments about us, especially as a stereotype. Not ALL fraternity guys are the animal house type. Do we party hard and have a great time? Absolutely. But I for one, treat women like the princesses they want to be as well as treat everyone else with respect. It just frustrates me to no end when Im trying to get a professional job while in college with the federal government and I hear "They don't want those fraternity guy types who like to party." That is such a crock, I don't know what to say... People even accuse it of being a thing to "pay for friends." And anyone who is in the greek system knows that is a bunch of crap.

Anyone else have thoughts on this? Am I doomed forever because I joined a great fraternity and decided to live a little?

I have been raising a child for two years now. The mother of the child has been there. But has no mothering instincts in her. She comes and go's as she wants without any concern for the child. I can not work because she will not try to put him in daycare or headstart. She feels that as long as she is in the same house that she is raising her child. She has not bought him any clothes, shoes, food,ect. I want to get custody or gardianship because I am raising him.
