My younger sister who is 16 went out with a 20 year last night that she works together with. I think he is too old for her. Am I wrong and just being over protective? Or do I have a vaild reason for being concerned? Please tell me what you think!

You are just being too protective. Think about it this way, after ten years, she'd be 26 and the guy would be 30, not much of a difference in years right? On the other hand, you do have a valid reason to be concerned. Hey, your sister's only 16! Have her wait till she's 18, then she can go out with whoever she wants. When I was 24 I went out with a 16 year old chick, her parents thought it wasn't right. Well... they were right.

If he were "21",then he'd be too old for her. Most 16 year old girls can handle a guy his age,but if your really concerned, then have a nice sisterly chat with her. Find out what his intentions are. They may have just wanted to go on a date. Don't worry, but keep your eyes and ears open for your "Lil Sis".

You definetlyy have a valid reason to be concerned, for one thing it's ILLEGAL for them to date, and two there is a big maturity difference between 20 and 16.

He is too old for her and that's called rape. You are doing the right thing and sometimes love can hurt esp. when it comes to family.

There is a simple rule: If it's illegal she's too young! Period.
