I am not the kind of person who cares about how much money my guys have and my ex did not have much money but I was with him for 5 months and did not even get a rose or anything. I would not even ask but he would always buy dvds for himself and waste money on fast food. We were together for V day and he took me to meet his family but did not even give me a card. Should I have known it was over back then or was I right to not care about material things?

I grew up in a dysfunctional family where as a child I was physically abused and neglected throughout my childhood. Now I’m grown and they need me more they I need them; should I still acknowledge them as parents? I tried to give them my respect and when they ask me about my life, I would tell them what’s going on but after giving them a brief of my goals and accomplishments, they would put me down and said that I am stupid for having such goals. I think at the age of 23, working in a large investment breakage firm is a pretty good job but they say I will fail in my goals. I forget to tell you, my parents are on welfare, meaning they are failure themselves. They constantly say that I am stupid and no person would want me as a mate, I am pretty good looking, woman stare at me and flirt with me all day, but my parents would only say the woman that have interest in me are whores. People say that in order for a person to be complete, he or she must forgive the wrongs of the parents and go on. I did forgive my parents but when I try to start at the beginning and want to start a positive relationship with them, the abuse starts again. I tell the this but it seems as if they are not hearing me and there response is always, your stupid and I know what’s best, I am smarter than you. However, both of my parents don’t have college degrees or anything near such status. Should I say the hell with them and live my life. Cut them out of my life forever? Please no religious stuff, I’ve read them and as you all know, the bible is subjected to “personal” interpretation. So what you get out of he bible is not the same for me. So please no religious quotes.

It seems like I am the one that is always initiating sex, and when I do-he often doesn't want to. I have left it up to him to initiate it but I have had to wait up to four days! He has always been that way, even when we were dating, we have been married for two years. Could this be because I am overweight? He is also overweight.

My ideal first date is a concert. My date and I would enjoy someone like.... Jay Z (the rock), Mary J.Blige and Sean Paul.

Every parent says they want whats best for there child rite. well what if your child knew what was best for them but you didnt do it, how is that whats doing what is best for them, your just thinking of yourself?

In lamens terms, if your child knows whats best fro them and you dont do it, how are you doing whats best for them??

me and my ex broke up 6 months ago. There were many reasons but one of them was me not being able to trust him. I caught him once on a website talking to random females (with a hot list of half naked women). After that I was always funny about him and other women coz I get the sense that he is not content in our relationship and was looking somewhere else. Now he blames me for my insecurities. I want to work things out. He said he was sorry and did that just to kill time and he loves me. He hangs out with another female and swears there is nothing going on between them (I dont think he would cheat on me with her tho).What do you think?

I am 23 and my husband Is 21. We've known each other a long time but married for 1yr. I want to go out and do things and i feel like my husband would rather play video games or the only way we can go out is if we hang with a friend. We can never agree to do anything together and when we hang out together its the same places. I'll turn 40 this year, and have never been married. Close several times, but then . . . one woman cheated on me, another developed a drug habit, another became verbally and physically abusive.

I've done my best to be a healthy, confident, dateable man . . . but when people treat me like some kind of loser because I don't have a ring on my hand yet, it dredges up all those bad memories, and I become defensive about being single. Some even think that I'm gay because I've never been married, which certainly isn't true.

I really think I am a good catch, but have just had some really lousy luck. What would be the best way for me to respond to people who are insensitive and immature to me about the marriage subject? It wouldn't do any good to give a 3-hour story about all of the women who've wronged me.

I know why, and it is because Americans can never get along. Also, when 1 spouse starts a fit, the other backfires trying to prove his or her point. im planing on moving out at the end of highschool, i wanna move closer to my girlfriend that is 4 hrs away and we juss started dating and wanna try it out first, and then after that we both said if it works till the end of school we will plan to move in with each other, but the thing is i wanna move up with a buddy incase we dont move in right away. Then there is another option if my buddy doesnt wanna move up with me, my girlfriends mom might let me stay their till we get are own place, but theres always the chance of her saying no. Right now im worrying about getting stuff to be redy when i move out and other needs, am I over reacting or just worrying to soon, What can I do to release some tension, or should i juss stop worrying about it till the time comes? what would be the best option, PLEASE help me any answers are good!!
