im planing on moving out at the end of highschool, i wanna move closer to my girlfriend that is 4 hrs away and we juss started dating and wanna try it out first, and then after that we both said if it works till the end of school we will plan to move in with each other, but the thing is i wanna move up with a buddy incase we dont move in right away. Then there is another option if my buddy doesnt wanna move up with me, my girlfriends mom might let me stay their till we get are own place, but theres always the chance of her saying no. Right now im worrying about getting stuff to be redy when i move out and other needs, am I over reacting or just worrying to soon, What can I do to release some tension, or should i juss stop worrying about it till the time comes? what would be the best option, PLEASE help me any answers are good!!

DONT DO IT live with your friends and you will enjoy your relationship with them and your girlfriend better, and have your girlfriend either stay at home or move in with some of her friends, she'll probably stay over at your place all of the time anyways and you'll always have your friends there. win/win

I think to move in with each right out of high school is a mistake. You are both entering a totally different world with responsibilities and difficulties you aren't even aware of yet. Now add to that the new situation of living together and it's just a recipe for disaster. If you want to try living alone after high school see how it works before moving in with your girlfriend.

I'm surprised your parents haven't told you any of this - or have they?

hmm..this sounds like me and my bf..he's 17 right now and we live an hour or so away from each other. after high school, he's goin to work for a year to wait for me to graduate then we're gunna move out together. If you have the financial means to do so, you have to talk to your gf about it. Also, it'd be good to find out how compatible you guys are in the house scenario (ie. do you guys argue over doing chores and such?) by staying together for like a week or so. You shouldn't worry so much either.

You make no mention of a JOB or a means of supporting yourself. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you'll probably have to be paying someone rent every month and then there's transportation...a car?? How about the money to pay for gas?? Insurance?? Maybe food...yeah...that's important, too!!! Think about it!!! Probably not a good plan right now.
