all,

I have failed misrebly within my last 2 relatinships and am wondering how to get another girlfriend and not loose another one.

within my last 2 relationships I tried far too hard to impress, was always wanting to help out and both relationships have ended in disaster, but with one of them at least we're still mates.
But the other one we aint even talking at the moment, hopefully she'll start talking to me again at some stage soon.

But my question is how can I go about getting another girlfriend? anything I try just seems to destent to failure, like should I try not being so wanting to do things, buy things or what?
not be so military like in my approach, dads ex australian airforce and I think that this comes into it in some way, shape or form.

answers from both guys and girls will be accepted for the above question.

Our relationship was getting too serious, and he got scared and ran away. It had nothing to do with me, I didn't do anything to deserve this. But I cared so much about him. I put him before everything and everyone. I want him to come back to me. I miss him so much.

I met this lovely lady Thursday and we're going out for the first time tomorrow. When I met her the words were coming easy and when I got home we talked about everything on the phone. My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 3 or 4 weeks. The problem is that he doesn't want to get a job. He says his drum practice is more important to him right now. In every other respect, he's a perfect gentleman-he opens doors for me, pulls out my chair, ect-and treats me well. I want him to get a job, but I don't know how to get him to. I've already tried telling him that it's a job or me and that didn't seem to phase him. How can I make him see that him getting a job and paying for a our dates is the same as me looking nice for him? It's not like I want to go some place expensive-I'm asking dinner and a movie once a week-usually 45 tops, usually less than that, though. What can I do to make him get a job and make him see that its him or me. He keeps telling me that no one will hire until August.That's not far off, but he also keeps saying that he's going to be "busy with school", so I don't know if he'll actually get one then or not. What should I do-dump him or hold out?

When women list what they look for in a guy, it's always sense of humor, great personality, ect. But they don't list good looks or attractive or handsome. Is it because it is generally understood that you must be good-looking, so therefore you don't need to list it? Most guys have all of those great qualities, but when you find out that they are just average-looking or ugly, you are not attractive to them anymore. So, is it that you must be good-looking FIRST AND FOREMOST and then if you have all the other great qualities, then women will fall for you?

She is 21. She goes to college and is a great student etc. etc. She was upset at me the other day because I visited my grandmother who has alzheimers and spent about 2 hours with her. I got back and her question to me was.." Do I do something that makes you want to not be here with me"? That was Friday PM. Saturday she goes out with her friends around 4:00 pm and stays out all night with them..she comes home around 10:00 am Sunday only to leave again at 11:30 am and its 9:30 pm and she says she will be home in a few hours. PS. she has to be at work at 6:00 am Monday morning. I am not stressed at the fact she is out. I am not stressed at the fact she has to go to work early in the AM.. (its her sleep she is depriving herself of). My question is.. when she questioned me about me not being here for those couple of hours I was with my grandmother.. should I not ask her the same thing??? or just forget it?

I have this friend, he's my best friend and we've known eachother since school but I've always felt really attracted to him. I've never told him I'm gay, he's straight and I don't know how he'd react if I told him. I've got to come out one day but recently my feelings for him have increased and I can't stop thinking about how it would be if we were together. We're really close friends, he hugs me so closely and I get such a high out of just being close to him. I really can't keep my head together, I'm getting depressed. my parents were away for the weekend and my brother has his friends over like he always do. so i was in my room watching tv and his friend came into my room he was soo cute but i never told any 1 that (btw) and just so u know his friend is 17 and i am 16. so his friend kept asking me questions. they were stupid questions like what do i like watching on tv and crap. anyway i was laughing and then he kissed me. i was so shocked. the next thing i know we r kissing and then hes taking off his shirt. im like OMG but then im like yay at the same time so we did it. i was scared but it happened. so he left and went to talk to my brother and the rest of his friends. so when im go to parties and to the store ppl from school stare at me i don't know if they knew what happened but i think they do. last night some 1 kept calling here and asking for a botty call i dunno who it was but i just came from school earlier today and every 1 is like shes a hoe and my teacher called my mom what do i do?????

im really scared! i saw my parents hugging and dancing one day and i got freaked out. it was really scary. i got this bad feeling and couldnt sleep for the next 2 nights. then i saw my parents kissing really hard in their bed. they didnt see me and dont know i saw them. im shaking realy hard its so scary! once they went to the movies together without my brother and me. when we were moving they kept on going to the house were moving out of to "clean up" and "move stuff over". they kepton going out to eat together. im so scared! this is killing me! i cant handle it any more! please help! after they finished kissing in bed their cheeks were touching my dad kept making kissing sounds and then my mom said,"put it in here and then she moved my dad's hand probably from her stomach or something to her breasts. it's so freaky! just please answer these questions!this is changing my life! just yesterday i saw them have sex 3am

My best friend who is a guy told me that he loved me. I love him too but I didn't think he had the same feelings for me. We have slept together before. Theres this guy. I first met him when I took my car to be looked at where he works. Hes a mechanic. I see him all around town every day. We have talked a few times and I can tell hes interrested. ...now she's doing it to me. I recently bought a Bob Dylan CD, an artist she really likes, and she has been pointing out that it is "very weird" that I would want that cd and going out of her way to make it wrong somehow for me to like his music. She recently called a mutual friend of ours and basically embellished something that happened to make it sound like I was rude to another girl, when that couldn't be farther from the truth. She is a very thin size zero, and said to me and my friends, who are all normal sized girls, that she would never want to be a size 2 or 4, because she didn't want to be fat. It hurts my feelings so bad that this girl constantly looks down on me for everything I do. I don't understand why, but it looks like the only way she can feel good about herself is to put others down. What, if anything, should I do about this? And what do you think about this situation? Thank you.
