Since you like a music I would say a concert. There are alot of free concerts during the summer it does not have to be a major rock band. If you live near the beach I would say go there. How about a sporting event or even just go fishing in a lake. Maybe go play tennis or one on one basketball and when you are done go get something to eat. You can also go to an amusement park, zoo or an aquarium. Maybe a museum as well.

if you mean something like romantic wise, find a place lik the closest large body of water..a river? (waterfront downtown where i live) and go take a walk late at night with him. The highest part in town also works...like in the movies.
if you mean something fun and spontaneous..fairs, carnivals, parties, the zoo, go window shopping downtown in antique shops, go to a candy store and buy one of each kind of candy and try them all with him while walking around the mall, go try new foods (sushi?) or new restaurants, volunteer with him, go to the beach, go out for a day and take the most random pictures of each other wherever you guys go. If you guys drive, then go drivin around town and stop by a cafe, get a drink then held to the park. It just depends on where you live and what there is to do in your city. Find annual events if possible, there's usually more during the summer.

Depending on your situation with your partner, the best options I've noticed are dinner and a movie, walk the mall, a day at the mountains, and my personal favorite, camping near the lake. Good Luck.

- visit to some tourist place nearby that you haven't been for a while.. (parks, outlooks, beach, lake etc.)
- cafe, or milk-bar for something to drink and a chat
- walk around the city or local neighbourhood while you chat
- shopping in a mall and taking your friend to places they enjoy
- buy some food in the supermarket, pack it, and take your friend on a picnic to a nice spot
- trip to a music store and pick out cd's you like, or listen to samples on display
- internet cafe' and play online games with each other
- get the bus or train to some far away place, chat on the bus/train etc. and feel good that you arrived there and back

go to the beach at sun set thats so romantic and cute..... umm. go out to lunch one day nothing else just talk over lunch. go to the mall (unless he hates shopping with a passion if not then make him go! lol). Amusment park. when school starts go to the football games.
