My freinds set me up with a shy, quiet girl. Our date went pretty good. There's some chemistry. She seems nice, intelligent, funny and she liked me enough to come out of her shell. She told me that she had been diagnosed with Schizoid Personality Disorder, which is basically an extreme preference for solitude and a lack of emotional expression. She also told me a whole lot of other personal things about her life that I wouldn't repeat here. But she said she has 0 freinds and is a virgin. Her life is in order. She's in college, holds a job and is still willing to meet people. I am attracted to her physically and find her personality interesting. But I'm not sure if I should pursue something with her. She's kinda strange and I've had some bad expereinces with off-center girls. A second date is right there is I want it. Should I go out with her again?

I'm a guy and I have a small circle of really close friends, all of whom I've known for years. I know friends won't be perfect. The thing is these long time friends of mine are drains on my confidence, but they seem to be my best access to a social life. They're helpful and fun sometimes, but other times they don't seem to respect me and will try to bring me down for their entertainment and confidence. Other circles of friends I have don't socialize outside of their small group. Do I need to accept the tradoffs along with the benefits?

I know that in teenage years, it's normal to become rebellious, but sometimes it's just over that he gets upset/fussy over trivial things, and even most of the time argue with my parents. At first, I tried to find what actually causes him to behave like that, sometimes it's due to my parents control, and I can understand how he feels. I tried to tell my parents not to always control him, but I feel it's ridiculous coz they do love and care for him. But I want to try as much as I can to make him happy, and this just seems difficult cos he doesn't open up much. Other than that behaviour, he's a very responsible & mature thinking boy. Any suggestion?
