He wanted this. He says that he doesn't love me but doesn't want a divorce because he doesn't want to lose my friendship. I have told him that wasn't going to work. I am still in love him and he know this. I have tried to work things out. There is no other woman. I would know my now. All he does when he isn't working is stay on the computer and sign on to dating sites and looks at porn. I know I should just go ahead and file for a divorce but I fill like I am giving up on my marriage. Can any man out their explain to me why he wouldn't go ahead and get a divorce. Believe me their is no benefit for him. He would rather look at porn then work on our marriage.

Hey, so my gf constantly eats mcd's and other crap, and while she isnt fat, she is definitely starting to show it in the belly/legs. I tell her to eat healthy and workout, and i get the 'you think im fat?' response. The thing is, she weighed herself and apparently she lost weight?! although i can tell that she is getting bigger. I know i sound pompous, but i dont let myself go just cuz im in a relationship, and quite honestly part of why i like her so much is because of how she looks. You can call me shallow, but I don't want to be dating a bigger girl, especially if she wasnt big to begin with. So, any advice on how to try and get her to stop doing this to herself, without outright saying the scale lied?! Thanks guys!

My BF's sister lives with him. I am over there everyday and spend the night often. He told me that he was raised that when you come into someone's house you speak to them. I say I am over there often so I see her everyday so why do I have to speak to her every single day? She got offended because she feels ignored sometimes when I don't say hi the first time I see her or I don't say anything back sometimes when she says a general hi to both of us. I am the type of person where at work and in life I don't speak to someone every single time I see them. I am kind of quiet unless I really know you. For a while I started speaking more often to her, then I forgot because it's not in my personality. So she went and told their mom and got her involved. This ticked me off. She is also older than me by 8 yrs or so and hardly contributes to their household. It was $60 a month until he just now made her pay 300/month in rent this year. Her dependent attitude bothers me. I speak, just not always.

I am happily married and have a great job.. I am satisfied with my life. But I've done things in the past (like past relationships that I deeply regret, things I've done to my body and some excessive partying) that I can't really get over. My husband doesn't know about any of it (why should he since we weren't together at the time and alot of it would change his image of me) and I'm partly scared that he will find out.

But how do I get myself from feeling bad about what I did? It's not just guilt... it's wanting to go back and change things in my life. Is that possible? It's more than 'having been young and stupid'.

(please don't give advice like 'get therapy'...I won't really qualify for therapy... nothing really pathological about my psyche. and in terms of what I've done... some of it was promiscuity, and partying too hard.. I don't think details are necessary.

Please help!!
