Maybe you are bringing too much baggage with you from your past. He might be saying you are too emotional, with ups and downs, too frequently. Maybe he just wants a sexual partner who is more fun to be with when he wants to have fun.
Either way you look at it...he doesn't want to be with you. Don't fret though. You are a great person, I am sure. Enjoy being with yourself, get to know yourself better, and stay true to yourself and God. Jesus is your best friend, really. Seems like many men these days are players, and there is no future for women with that.

I hope that this is not the same 'man' that feels too much pressure from I love you. He's telling you that he's still in the mind-set of a boy. You're too complicated for him because he is not able to deal with your realm of thought. If it's the same person, then you just seem fixated on punishment. If it's a different person, then you seem to gravitate to insecure 'men'. Get busy and move on. People change because they want to. That goes for you as well.

Well, guys lead simple lives, they need less to function that we do, we materialize, believe that we need this and that for our everyday life, and we end up talking like this too... we ramble about meaningless things, that they don't care about or don't understand, and they just feel like they don't function at our level. This is why we are "complicated."
