My cat is not only at my side but she's probably going to make a move for the keyboard any minute now.
Figuratively, my boyfriend is at my side...but he's in another country, but with this being his birthday, he's bemoaning his age and sending me countless "am I really so old?" Instant messages along with "Hurry up and get your butt over here!"
