Family & Relationships - 19 July 2006

My husband and I are switching roles. He is going to be staying home and I am going to be going back to work... I was wondering how some of you would react to this. I am trying not to be worried about the kids and the fact that I would like to not come home to a messy house. I am just not sure how to handle the whole situation. I have been out of work for about 6-7 years. Thank you for your suggestions. No reason to be nasty either.

What if this person is 1000's of miles away from you do you just forget about ever meeting and keep your friendship online? I know this question gets asked on here allot but it is really confusing. It is an incredible feeling though to have someone care for you and not have any physical contact.

hey there guys and girls

I've been with this girl now for a little over 5 months but we were friends for about 4 years, we finally got together when we sumed enough courage to make it happen. The problem i have now, is that she still talks to her ex and tells him she thinks bout often (i caught this happening 2 days before my birthday too). And he still calls her, "his girl". Now this guy left for another country and then only we got together, i feel like a substitute for when she decides to leap back into his arms. She tells me not to doubt her faithfulness, but how can i not if this is all going on behind my back? I struggle with trust as i've been burnt so many times before. I really care for her more than she knows and ive sacrificed so much for her and made such an effort in the relationship. (except for reading her emails, but i found the betrayals there). i really dont know anymore, do i carry on trying to trust her or should i confront her about this? plz help, thanks

I dump my last girlfriend because she found out I was cheating on her. The girl that I was cheating on her with was having sex and my ex wasn't. Now the girl that I was cheating on her with, broke up with me. And when I move to the next girl my exgirlfriend friend liked me so I start going with her. So why I'm going with her friend I still think about her and I can't get my mind off of her. And last night she called me and I wan't to tell her that I still have feelings for her but I couldn't. So if she call me today what should I do?

Have been going out since almost 2 yr now , may be a few months more .. we ar talking of getting married ad both side of the family know ab us but one day i get a call from my bro that he saw my bf with a gal in a club smooching around ad acting like a couple , ad when asked this to my bf he does agree to it ad then their is more as their have been other flings in the past also .. this is a long distance relationship by the way .. Now i do nt know what to do , he is saying sorry over ad over again but some now it is nt effecting me at all it seems i am dead from inside , he did send me flowers ad a few other things ad is calling me again ad again .. he did nt do all this befor ad he is saying that he wants to work this out i should give him a chance . i have been really rude to him since i have come to know this ,ad if i come to think ab it ..
if it would have a guy who cared a **** ab it then he would nt have taken my rude way of talking bec i can really be a ***** with my words

So, I am personally sick and tired of everyone in my family trying to tell me how to live. I work 12.5 days and put myself through school and I live a pretty good life. What bothers me is when people are so judgemental all the time. Can anyone tell me why people are like this or at least let me know that there are others who are in the same boat.

Over a month ago my now ex-boyfriend cheated on me (we were going out for over 2 years). I am devistated. I cannot get over it. I know I cannot be wtih him, I deserve so much better but somewhere deep inside I want to be with him. I want everything to be how it was before this all happened. I want the impossible. We were so in love. He made me so happy and he always told me how happy I made him. I was so good to him. I did everything to make him happy and this is what he done to me! What goes through guys minds? What makes them do such stupid things. How can they just have sex with the 1st person who is willing? Do they have no self control? I feel sooo depressed. I havent been able to function since this happened. I know its so ridiculous for me to be like this. I shoud move on and look for somebody that I know will treasure me and never do this to me, but its just so hard. I just want some support, some stories that I can relate with, some advice. Please help.

My husband and I are really in danger here in this marriage. So my husband decides he is mad at me and needs space. Okay, I don't mind. But taking space isn't all he does he begin to treat me very badly during his space (he is still coming home). One minute nice next minute I don't care about you. Then in between we would have these talks that seemed to bemoving the marriage somewhere, and I find out it was just a conversation and it means nothing. Now 3 weeks later, going on 4, I am getting frustrated with his so called space and we have this "serious discussion" two days ago. It felt good and it felt we are finally getting somewhere. So the next day, I figure let me call him and ask let's do something nice together to start...his response negative and filled with attitude. So last night, I decide enough is enough for me emotionally and mentally with this. I am shut off, turned off, and detached. What should my next move be? I still love him would love for this to still work out.

i found out my boyfriend was talking to another girl....a lot.....but he says they were just friends (even though he KNEW she liked him) and that he's known her since before he met me. i found pics of them together (while we were together) nothing nasty, just pics of them being very friendly towards each other. he says he only saw her a few times. i know he's not the type to sleep around but i can't help making up stories in my head about what went down between them. He swears up and down that he never did anything with her that they were just friends and i've never seen a man cry like that- but i still can't help thinking about it and feeling sick whenever i get a mental pic of him and her!!!! what do i do!!! We've been together 1 year and I love him to death and i know we were meant to be- i just want to get over this and move on and be happy but i don't know how!!!! HELP!!!!!!

My 10 year old son is at a 3wk camp. He has 2 more weeks. My older son is a counselor there and he had a day off yesterday and told me that the younger one was crying that morning, but cheered up after they started playing. If he completes this camp he gets a college scholarship (long story on that). So - should I go get him, or leave him there?

ok if u have read my other questions, u will see me and my fiance broke up... well we got back together last nite and then not even 2 hrs later, he told me that he needs to take some time off and see what he really wants. he has told me this once before and i asked him about it and he said its because ive changed.. well ok, he also tells me everything is moving to fast - we have been together for 3 damn yrs, how in the hell is that moving to fast? can someone plzz give me some answers on y he is acting like a little kid. i need the support....

I had dated a man a few years back and we lost touch. Fine he came back into the picture and i had introduced him to one of my friends but then they started to like each other. I said ok that they could date, but then I went back on my word. I lost her as a friend and i also lost him as a friend. I think that line should not be crossed. i lost her because she could not beleive that i had gone back on my word.
