Was is it that when you have been dating someone for a few months, they stop doing the very things that made you giddy inside. The guy that I am dating now, we have been dating for 5 months. I fell in love with him because we had a intellectual and philosophical attraction, not to mention a great sex life. Now, seems like all we have is sex. He doesn't email me anymore and tell me that the day is wonderful because of....or that, he is happy because.... He use to tell me to live life to the fullest and use all of these inspirational words, now nothing. When I point it out, he does it for a few days, but then stops again. Does anyone know why people quit doing the things that won you over? Is it because they have won you over and there is no more chase?

I see him for 2 weeks in summer and he comes back in december for 3 months. i miss him terribly, and love him truly. I am trying to sell home and move back up there but so far no luck. this is been going on for 3 years right after we got married. But he makes great money and has great medical, and he wants to stay in massachusetts? Can a marriage last in this situation?

I've known someone for some time and I've started to see her as more than a friend for the last couple of months. The trouble is, since all of my past relationships ended for the reasons they did, my confidence is practically zero and I can't find the guts to tell her how I feel. Not only that, but I get mood swings when I really can't be doing with them - in one breath I'm tap dancing on tables and in the next I'm crying into a tub of ice cream.

What advice would you give me?

Alright, I don't need anyone to tell me how stupid I was for this, I already know that.
I lent my boyfriend some money (about $365). There were a couple things that I didn't have a choice on - he was selling stuff on my ebay account and the item didn't make it to the customer and so the money had to be refunded. This was about $150. And then I lent him money for a couch for his apartment, which was $175. (I know, I know, this is probably the time you're going, "what the HELL were you thinking?!"). He said he was good for it and for God knows what reason, I believed him.
But THEN we broke up in May, and I knew he only got paid once a month. So I waited until mid-June to ask him for the money - hell even a small chunk of it, and he said he didn't have it b/c he'd just paid off the couch, he'd get it to me soon. So I wrote him an e-mail yesterday and he'd blocked my e-mails!! I want to get him to sign a contract to pay me, but I don't know how to write up a contract. Any tips/advice?

I have a friend who is so sweet and caring to me. He likes to be around me and show me how I really need to be treated. I like him alot because of who he is, my problem is that when I am alone with him I get nervous and scared, and start to think of bad things that can happen, my best friend tells me not to worry it's just that I am not used to someone who is so respectful to me. So what I would like to know how can a woman who was so scorned by infidelity and abuse actually make it with someone who is so good to her.

Ok. well it seems that my boyfriend that i've been dating for the last four months...and i have come to a realization that this might not be working out the way we intended it to..We live two states away from each other. We love each other don't get me wrong..and the feelings for each other are still there. however, we want to be there for each other..to help meet each others needs..and right now that doesn't seem like an option..I'm working..he's working..and he's about to start school again..I don't want to go on telling myself that things are going to work out for the better. when they may actually not. I don't want to live a lie like that anymore. I know you are going to say follow your heart and all that bologna..but what do you do if your heart wants two different things? I mean do you think we should call it quits if the feelings are mutual..and start dating people in our own states..because this long distance thing is seriously hurting us both..what do you think we should do?

Well she has issues honestly. Because she keeps treating me like I did something really bad to her. I don't know what obviously so I sent her an email asking her to come clean about it. She won't respond and I'm courious as to why. I ran into her yesterday fo the first time im 17 year sand she was not happy yo see me. She was wating for the same bus as I was. And I was with my kids and fiance. She walked to the other bus stop to get on a differnt bus. I know she can't stand me because of the look she gave me it was an I can't stand you/ jelaous look. I don' get it can you give me you point of veiw on this? I still think it has to do with a guy I dated years ago. He was never her man and she turned him down completley and we were never really friends so what in the world crawled up her butt? It's a shame she's still acting this wayafter so many years I don't get why she's so bent over this. We had a good friendship but she betrayed my trust and it just got worst come prom time.
