What is the BEST thing to SAY when you decide to GET IN TOUCH with your EX again after 2 years?? Last time I knew he had a girlfriend..I still like him so my intentions are to be friends first and than maybe take it to the next level...I know that ex's are ex's for a reason BUT he is different. I know he is special. The problem is I don't know how to start talking to him again. ANY ideas?!Thanks everyone!

Note: I ask the same question in multiple sections because I like to get A LOT of opinions so please don't think I am crazy :))lol

This is rather complex. First, I'm a guy. There's a girl that I really like but I've never told her. She is my friend and we hang out a lot. I have another friend (male) who hangs out with both of us a lot. Well the other day we were playing XBox by ourselves without my friend there, and she said something about him being totally retarded. She before had, with both of us present, told us we're really cool. Noticing this contradiction, I reminded her that she had said this of him before. She said, "No I didn't, when I say that it means I like somebody," and I insisted that she said it. Then she said, "Maybe I never directed the that towards him." Hmmm. Anyways, this might be really stupid sounding, but it sounds to me that she's hinting toward her liking me. She's also gotten more friendly to me lately. What should I do?

My cousin live in the Md. area and she has four kids and she's a single mom and a pt student.Well she called me about 10 min ago and said she got an eviction notice,she has to be out of her apt. by the 27th she went to social services and they want her to come up with half,she said she told them if she had half she would'nt be there for the help.Do anyone know any services in the Md. area or any institute that will be willing to help.They told her if she comes up with 985.00 they will put a hold on the eviction for three weeks.

i have been married for 5 years going on 6 and my relationship is so boring we have no chemistry we don't really have a chance to go out like regular couples b/cuz i have 2 kids and no family down here but anyway i dont feel any intimacy with my husband unless i'm having sex then again i really dont feel a connection then we dont kiss at all and i love to kiss but all i get is a peck or 2 we dont cuddle when we watch movies at home he's either on the floor and i'm on the couch i tell him all of the time that the spark is gone and all he can say is you are crazy you are to emotional and unstable when i start to express myself to him he trys to change the subject oh yeah his 1st passion is his sports and i feel like im on the back burner he never plays with the kids i mean a quick hi and what r u doing but no bedtime stories or nothing what should i do( plz. help serious people only)

i love them to death but how do you deal with it sometimes. i have one friend that is in iraq and coming back in september. and i have another friend that i have been talkin to for the past 3 months and now i just found out that he will be sent to iraq in october. i am not even sure why i feel so close to them because i have never met one of them and i have only seen the other one once. i talk to them both daily one the computer though and i dont know what i would do if something happened to either one of them.

I am so confused please help. I am in love with a guy that I am not sure wants to be with me or not. My mother, who is 54, has become a 24 year old again. Her and my father divorced 10 years ago and he is remarried, something I think she resents. She has been putting her profile on websites like yahoo personals, Match.com and others like those. This is not the problem. Problem is she is meeting guy after guy on line and not getting to know them very well before she agrees to meet them and even bring them back home with her. I think this is dangerous especially since one guy drove 300 miles to have sex with her. She is dating 3-4 guys a week and having sex with 2-3 guys a week. I am afraid that she is going to get a bad reputation with her friends and neighbors, get raped or attacked, catch a disease like AIDS or worse. I have given my "daughterly" advice but she says that she will not be an old granny knitting in a rocking chair with her cat on her lap. HELP!!!
