I am so confused please help. I am in love with a guy that I am not sure wants to be with me or not. I mean we were together for nearly two years but he broke it off because he was going to the army and didn't want to be in a long distance relationship. Do you think that is the real reason? Now I try and communicate with him and some time he acts like he misses me and other times he seem as if he wish I would leave him alone. What should I do? Should I try to still be with him or just cut it as a lost?

Since he broke it off with you because he was going to be in the Military, it is possible that he did (and still does) have feelings for you. He may truly miss you.

Is he still in the military? If so, that may explain his ambivalent feelings towards you. He may be struggling between wanting to be with you, but not wanting to subject the two of you to a long distance relationship.

The only true way to get answers to your questions is to speak to him so that you can decide whether to proceed with renewing the relationship, or moving on.

Good Luck

from experience, i know that it is hard to let go of a man when he goes into the service. But let him be, he is on an important quest to achieve more for himself. It would be selfish to keep him from what he dreams of. Long distance relationships aren't very feasible in the military because obviously you want all of his attention, and he wont be able to give you that. I say let him go

hard to say what does he really feel

maybe he's afraid of been far away of you and he decides it's a best solution

by my advice is just wait and stop contact him for some time
let him thought about what does he want
