My cousin live in the Md. area and she has four kids and she's a single mom and a pt student.Well she called me about 10 min ago and said she got an eviction notice,she has to be out of her apt. by the 27th she went to social services and they want her to come up with half,she said she told them if she had half she would'nt be there for the help.Do anyone know any services in the Md. area or any institute that will be willing to help.They told her if she comes up with 985.00 they will put a hold on the eviction for three weeks.

I don't live in that area but what about the Salvation Army. Around here they help people in these situations. Also, I don't know about there, but here you can go to your township office and they will help. She could also try going to some churches and asking for help or try the Goodwill. Good luck.

Most churches offer financial help when needed. She may want to call the bigger churches in her area.

Tell her to go around the churches they sometimes have programs for ppl in need like her!! good luck!!
