It could be when she filled out a change of address form, she put a last name but didn't fill out a specific first name. If you don't put in one first name and check individual it will forward everyones mail with that last name. if the mail is direct addressed and not forwarded, it just means that the companies requested the address change directly from the post office.
It doesn't mean that she has done anything or is planning on doing anything sneaky.
I had the same problem when I moved to Alabama from Ohio. My father in law lived with us in Ohio and when we moved I filled out the change of address for family and we have been getting mail for him for the last 4 years now at 3 different addresses in Alabama and he has never left Ohio. It sucks.. but what can you do?
If you and your ex are pleasant just ask her to either give you the mail, or mark "Not this address, Return to sender" on everything she receives for you.

my girl friend works for the post office and she deals with this all the time, when your ex-wife moved and changed her address at the post office, there is a little area on the card that ask if this includes the entire family and says check here in bold letters, in many cases people do not read what it says and they check the box this will cause all mail going to your old address to be forwarded to the new one, you need to go to the post office and fill out your own change of address card to get your mail back.

Did you file a forwarding address with the Post Office?
If you did it will take about 2 weeks to see a change. Also put a legal notice in the newspaper saying you are responsible for you debts only. Another thing make sure her name is off all credit cards, bank accounts, etc.

When a change of address is submitted (via the post office), the workers aren't detailed enough to notice a name... only the address, so they forward most of the mail.
Every now and then you'll get a postal employee that has the mentality slightly higher than a house plant... and they will not make that common mistake.

Go to the post office and talk to a postman they can fix it for you all you need is an address change form put her address as your current and your address as the new one then any mail that is in your name will be rerouted to your address.

I'm sure some companies or mailing lists still have it on file that teh two of you share a residence; thus, if they need to reach you, but only have her address, they can merely send it there. The news of your divorce won't necessarily travel to all parties who may need to know in the future without your personal interest - meaning, find out the companies who are doing it, contact them, and let them know.
And look at the bright side - if it's junkmail, you win ;)

I get mail from my ex husbands 2nd AND 3rd wive's, and I also get mail for him.
He still gets mail for me... Most of it is junk. Since our divorce, I have kept an eye on my credit report. I even found out where my ex's 3rd wife moved to after I attained custody, because the information showed up in my credit report.
Either forward it to her, put "Return to sender", or trash it...

Your wife probably purchased something using one of your credit cards and had it sent to her new place. That can put you on all sorts of mailing lists. If she's receiving credit card bills in your name, you're seriously screwed, buddy. You need to get a hold of the mail with your name on it and figure it out. You also need to go to optoutprescreen.com to opt out of credit card offers, loan offers, etc. where you're "preapproved" b/c all she has to do is fill out one sent to her address and send it in and she can get a credit card in your name sent directly to her.

I have the same situation. I can only guess that you are still linked through some accounts. You can pull a credit report at freeannualcreditreport.com and check and see if you are an authorized user of any of her cards.
