Ok my best friend told me today that i need to find a man to pay for things for me. I told her that i am very independant and dont need a man for his money. I will get a man because im in strong like not to get money.Im trying to tell her that she does not need to use them but she thinks that is what they are here for.I want to know am i right by being independant.

Iv'e been involved with my "high school sweetheart" off and on for almost 7 years now. He told me, in late May, that he wanted to marry me but for some reason he won't say we're boyfriend and girlfriend. He says that he doesn't see why we need the label (for ourselves), and he tells other people he's single? He says we're in a relationship but don't need to call it anything. So what do I call him, who do I say I'm marrying? Should I be hurt, or upset? Should I re-consider being w/him? Maybe he's not the man God has for me? Serious answers please!

birth mother living with a man who can not even see his own kids, in another state. Father don't really give a ****, deals & does drugs: But wants the girls because of child support checks, father is 35 and has MS. lives with any one who will take him in., with or without the girls.The girls are not in a stable enviroment unless they are staying with me. But Hubby said unless we can get full rights he will not let the girls come back.( we are all attached to them and they to us.) They are 2 1/2 years old. I have had them almost all of the time since April of this year up until yesterday.

Hi, i have a boyfriend with the last name "Rugg". Around here that last name is associate with a lot of bad things, even though he and his immediate family are not at all bad. When we get married i really want to take his name and leave my old name (McCrory) behind, but i dont know if i should. Sometimes people with his last name get turned down for loans, jobs, etc. just because of their last name. I dont want to have that problem, but i really want to take his name. Should i write my name ____ (McCrory) Rugg instead of just putting Rugg? Do you think that would help? And what about our kids names? Please help!

I have been seeing my boyfriend for eighteen months and our love life has been far from exciting. He does not arroused, he has been to the doctor to be tested for low hormone and testerone counts and they came back normal. I am begining to get very bothered by this because he can go six months without sex and it does not bother him. I feel like he is not attracted to me but he assures me that is not it at all, that this is the way he has always been. In the rare instance we do have sex it may last one minute. He is 30 if that matters. I have tried almost everything, he is a little timid though. Any suggestions because he is talking about marriage and I am beginning to think that I can't marry someone that can't satisfy me? Other than that one flaw is really is perfect.

I know someone who has been going steady with her boyfriend for eleven years now. She is 28 years old but, I do not know how old her boyfriend is. I guess a couple of years ago, the boyfriend had sex with another women on several ocassions. I know this, because his girlfriend would drive by the house while he was in with the other women and she had strong instincts about what was going on. As a result, the other women got pregnant and she had his baby. Now, the girlfriend would not talk to him for a long time when she found out about this. But, somehow, she has forgave him and they are still going steady for 11 years. She has not told her parents about the boyfriend she has been dating for 11 years. And, they do not know about her boyfriend.I know I should mine my own business. My grandmother thinks that something is seriously wrong with the girl. Also, her boyfriend will not allow the girl to go in bars. He is afraid men will flirt with her. Is this relationship healthy?
