If one is not into going out to bars or similar, but is rather of a home body, how do you find another homebody, who would share this with you?
Obviously it would have to be a way to get to them where they like to be, at home. And if they are sitting at a computer, then we already have 2 things in common. The rest is communication.
For that I am all set, as I have a VoIP phone, which I can use to call all of Canada, the USA and 17 countries in Europe without extra charge.
If you meet someone in a supermarket your statement of not knowing them also fits. So what's the difference? Just trying to be picky? ;-)

first of all you get to reach out to someone waaay across the globe, and secondly there are so many advantages to talking to a person you dont know, i mean you can share so much you dont normally share. and what the heck making new friends is always fun, even over the internet.

This has its pros and cons.
You can meet new people and the other side of the world and learn about their customs instead of reading it but for you can know that person may not live in the other side of the world. it can be ur worst nightmare hehe

cuz it's fun to get friends with different nationalities and not just local ..and u talk with more freedom as they don't see u....and maybe cuz it's a little difficult to make new friends in the real world....

it is ok to talk to people just be caer full u never want to give them your adrees real age or last name even your phone# people are sick now adays so becaer full who u talk to and dont give any in portant info
