instead I have a disfunctional family who hates each other and doesnt even know why. I know I cant fix them and they dont want to be healthy so what can I do? I have 2 great straight 'a' student kids who are emotionally healthy and love life but I want the big happy family,. I guess you cant always get what you want. so sad.

I have been married for almost ten years. We started dating off and on 14 years ago. I have become very unhappy over the last couple of years. Without going into the details, I told her I wanted a divorce about six months ago and again about 6 weeks ago. Both times she broke down crying and begged me to go to counseling. We have been in counseling for over a year already and I just don't want to be in the marriage anymore. I am to the point where I am ready to just move out and have an attorney contact her.

I know it sounds stupid, but I still care a lot about her and seeing her fall apart really hurts me. I can't seem to bring myself to do this because I know how much it will hurt her.

For what it's worth, there has been no abuse, cheating, etc. on either side and we have no kids..

My daughter is 2 and 1/2 and is such a good and wonderful kid...however as most kids at this age do, she goes through many temper tantrums and cries hysterically in an attempt to get what she wants...in addition she also does not listen to me when I tell her no...I know that she is probably testing her boundaries and what not but I dont know how to counteract it and teach her to behave...I really dont want her to think its okay to misbehave and I want to teach her right from wrong but I am having problems with this and would love any input from other parents on what they do to avoid or just handle this type of situation...thx:)

Ok, i have these 2 friends, they are friends too but when all three of us get together some how the just start fighting, i don't know if they do this without me, but im in the middle and gotta go home with one of then untill i get a ride home. i can call my mom to pick me up, but i can't if she is working, and my dad lives to far away. what should i do? plz help

What do you do when you realize you have been played for a fool by your husband? He walked out a little over a month ago and we have been talking and I thought everything was going great. We are planning to move. But, we are unsure weather or not to move out of state or in the stare we are curently living in. The question is my brother in law came over and saw that we had stuff in boxes he asked you moving? And, I said we MIGHT be moving in Indiana. Now my brohter in law is upset about it and now my husband is mad at me that I said something. Would you be mad. I told my brother in law we might be moving in the other state. I just turned 16 about 2 weeks ago. I've had feelings for my next door neighbor for about 4 months now. I've known him my whole life. He's 24 and married with 3 kids. He is having trouble with his wife. His wife knows about me and what is happening between me and him.



He now lives in his own apartment and still sees his wife sometimes. We have went all the way. I don't know if he loves me but he has told me that he cares for me a lot. He has also told me that he never wants to lose me. We're not together but I think I love him. I don't know the legal age of consent in Missouri but I think it is 17.


I really like him a lot and love being with him when I am. His wife is making him very unhappy and he is currently having thoughts of suicide and worthlessness. He said if he didn't have me then he doesn't know what he would do.


Do you guys think that there is any chance that he might get a divorce? He filed like 3 months ago and they both got the papers but niether of them signed. I mean I know that he might want to stay with her because of the kids but I don't understand how someone could be with someone that makes them feel so horrible about themselves. Do you guys have any advice for me at all??? Please. and thanx for the help.

I have read a lot of your questions. It is super good that you are reaching out for help from others for your problems and I enjoy getting onvolved, however most of the questions being asked boil down to communication. For some reason we are afraid or embarassed to talk to our partners about the problems we will openly discuss with stragers. Most of them could be solved by open communication. You just have to learn to speak each others language. Men only have 2 emotions, happy and angry. When a woman approaches her man, you will set him down one of those two roads. Don't come at a man with anger or he will respond with it and put up a defensive wall. Men, women have a rainbow of emotions so try to be a little bit more aware of that. More than anything just be honest about everything. Almost everything can be solved with open communication and honesty. Trust me I have been down many different roads in relationships!!

I want my relationship to work I really love my bf. We been together for about 8 month. But lately whenever we talk we end up arguing about stupid stuff, he always brings up old stuff that I said, and I get so mad at him. I don’t know how to talk to him with out arguing, and when ever I get mad I tell him so, why are u talking to me still? Why don’t u leave me alone. I don’t want to say that I want it to work; I don’t know how to have a normal relationship. Please somebody help me I want to change I want him to keep talking to me not just say ok I will call u back and don’t call me for hours. So please I need steps somebody.
