It all depends on the situation. There is never a time limit on how long it takes to fall in love. You also have to remember that there are different stages in love as well. These stages all depend on how well you know the person and how well you know yourself. Some of these stages consist of 1. love at first sight, 2. physical infactuation - sex based 3. emotional infactuation etc etc.
Just remember, no one can nor has the right to say you are in love or not, only you can judge.

First of all, Science has disproven love, it doesn't exist. Here is basically what it is: Testosterone, Estrogen, Adrenaline, Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin, and Vasopressin. (Dopamine has the same effect on the body as cocaine) It takes 0.2 seconds or 1/5 of a second to fall in love according to every single damn scienfitic study done, which means it is a fact. It takes 0.1-0.4 seconds to blink in theory, so you can fall in love quicker than you can blink, which makes love a joke.

If you fall in love it usually takes time for you to get to know the person, unsless its love at first sight.

There's not a certain amount of time it takes!! I fell in love with me boyfriend after 2 months!! and you'll know when you fell in love!

It depends! With me, I'll see him and think he's cute, but I'll have to get to know him first, and become friends, then I think maybe I love him. But my friend does the love-at-first-sight thing, and her relationships work out just as good as mine.

personally my opinion is that it takes months even years to fall in love with someone, to really feel that special love.How can people fall in love with someone they barely meet

it depends...if it is a real love it takes a few seconds...you don't really realise when it happens...you realise it after it happens...but is a really good feeling ist't it?
