I have read a lot of your questions. It is super good that you are reaching out for help from others for your problems and I enjoy getting onvolved, however most of the questions being asked boil down to communication. For some reason we are afraid or embarassed to talk to our partners about the problems we will openly discuss with stragers. Most of them could be solved by open communication. You just have to learn to speak each others language. Men only have 2 emotions, happy and angry. When a woman approaches her man, you will set him down one of those two roads. Don't come at a man with anger or he will respond with it and put up a defensive wall. Men, women have a rainbow of emotions so try to be a little bit more aware of that. More than anything just be honest about everything. Almost everything can be solved with open communication and honesty. Trust me I have been down many different roads in relationships!!

Yep...I agree 100%. For some reason we all think that once we're envolved with someone romantically, we are automatically mind readers! It's the whole "well, if you really knew me you'd know what I want" crap. Women are more guilty of this than men (come on ladies, admit it!), but it is done from both sides. We don't know what the other wants unless we VERBALIZE what it is we want. Takes out all the guess work and everyone's happy.

I totally agree. I am also glad to see a man that has somewhat of a grasp on a women's feeling and if all of our husbands had as much knowledge as you a lot of us would not be here asking for help. Most men are closed minded to see things in a women's perspective and the same goes for us usually we can only see things in our way. Both men and women need to be more aware of the mis-communication like you are saying and apply it to our own problems. You have great advise.

I think it really depends on the man. I think men do have more then 2 emotions being happy & angry. The main thing is communication and making sure that ur husband or wife understands what you are telling them. Just making sure you here him or her out before you get upset helps a great deal.

I agree but in my marriage my husband lies to me so I don't even want to communicate with him- I can't trust him. And by the way he doesn't bother to deal with any emotions in my "rainbow". So I agree but I don't think that everything can be solved by communication.

I agree.
When I read some of the questions, I shake my head, but then I think hey.. this is something that a young person doesn't feel comfortable asking at home or friends and I try to help.
Ditto with some issues that adults have.

I completely agree. I believe communication, along with compromise, are the keys to a long relationship. I say this in all of my answers, but people don't seem to listen.

Yes your exactly right. Couples just don't take the time to understand one another they play the blame game instead of looking at what they could do differently. Have a great day, K

If only it were that easy, sometimes one partner just does not want to or cant or is afraid to communicate and no matter how hard you try or how much you read or research to try to figure out how to break through the bearrier ....sometimes you just cant.
