My wife and I were in the same boat. Use your address. I admit guys are less responsible, when it comes to things like this.

However, may I pass along a few additional comments? I don't know how, but some people may STILL manage to RSVP to the groom's address - even if you don't list his address. Some may never RSVP and still show up. Some may RSVP and not show up (sick kids, etc). Some may bring a friend (hello?!). Have an extra table set up for these drop-ins. Congrats and have a wonderful life!

The RSVP cards should be sent to whoever is HOSTING (read: paying for) the event. If your parents are paying for the majority of the wedding, the RSVPs should be sent to their address. If you and your fiance are paying for the wedding, the cards should be sent to you (or him, but in this case you).

Most RSVP cards have the return address reprinted on them, or if you're making your own cards, you can use reprinted address labels (check www.artistricdirect.com or the ads in your Sunday paper for inexpensive labels).

It is also a good idea to prestamp your RSVP cards so your guests don't have to find a stamp. You don't have to provide the postage, however, you're more likely to get people to send the cards back if they don't have to find a stamp.

Oh, and regardless of what the sales people tell you, it is NEVER within proper etiquette to include your registry information in your invitations for either the wedding or the shower. People who want to know where you're registered will ask.

Brides address. Try setting up an email on yahoo. That way they don't HAVE to mail you anything. We bought a really cheap answering machine and set up an email account. Something cute like joneswedding@yahoo.com or wlb2gethr4evr@yahoo.com and guests can either call in or email you their rsvp.

Chances are you're going to be far more organized about these sorts of things, so they should come to you.

Alternately, you could get a short-term PO Box the use for the time being...3 months??

Hey Jack that wasn't the question and none of your business. Who is doing the guest list and arranging the caterers? That is who really needs to know. Congrats and Good Luck!

Use the one where YOU spend the most time. That way you can sort through them efficiently- as they arrive. This is also where most of the decisions are made, meetings are held etc.

I would use the brides address. That seems to be traditional.
