I'm 14, and I'm old enough to get a job but, my mom doesn't want me to. Eveytime I bring up the subject she quickly either walks outta the room to avoid the conversation or starts talking about something else. I've told her all the benifits there'd be. Like, I'd be able to pay for my own stuff and the like...Any suggestions?

I have been with a guy for six months now! It seems like I have known him for ages. He's 26 and I am 23 and we are so happy, rarely argue, we don't live together but I spend every night at his. We do everything together: sports, holidays, camping! We're best friends! I've never been in love before, but this feels right and different to what i have experienced before. I am just infactuated, besotted or is it more?

Man im in love with is family friends son(families friends for decades from grandparents).We know eachother 5yrs,2yrs in love.He feels same way,he calls me on phone saying he loves me,wants to marry me BUT hes drunk.I know he gets drunk calls me since he feels he can tell me his feelings.Now does it mean he really loves me,should i talk to him telling him things hes told me or should i leave until he says same to me when sober.Since i dont want to bring it up if he doesnt remember or let it ruin our friendship.I love him he loves me.

my friend is an indian staying at chennai. shes got admission into an eng coll. & she is doin her 2yr.she is in love with a guy.but her family is a very orthodox & her parents hated love marriage. they strongly believe arranged marriage.now the problem is she loves this guy verymuch & he is also an engineer & he has got selected in the campus interview & he would be well enough to lead a well settled life with her if she marries him.hey both r in love 4 abt 7 yrs.

Basically, this guy is 40 and married with kids (lecturer in a university I work at). About 6 months ago he used to ALWAYS stare at me - Ive caught him MANy times just staring at me. He even carried on staring at me when I looked up at him.

This gradually subsided, even though I caught him staring at me still while I wasnt looking then he turned away when I looked up.

Now..he just completely blanks me...and I have given him no indication that I like him. When I walk past him..its like im invisible to him and he doesnt even say 'hi' anymore.

Why does he do that. From what I know of him - he is shy and sensitive natured but confident in speech (as hes a lecturer).

Should I show him that I am interested in him? Or is it too late?

I am 24 and have a Degree. I work at the University at the Same Department as him and I will also be studying for an MBA part-time while Im working and he is NOT my teacher/lecturer.

what I should do with her. One, she is a cigarette smoker, and I am not...I have gotten used to it and it does not bother me, but should I tell her she must quit or I will have to move on. I have had a boyfriend for the last 2 years that I am crazy about, he really is perfect for me. So my question, is it wrong that I still want to keep in contact every once in a while with my ex-boyfriend's parents? I was only with this guy for about 6 months and he lives across the country now. I rarely speak to him and I feel like have a greater connection with his parents than I had with him. These are people who I don't want out of my life but I'm afraid it will create conflicts with my boyfriend. Can this be understood or should I cut the ties?
