If they are a combination of petrol and electric then the electricity must come from somewhere, presumably a fossil fuel power plant. This is an extra process by which energy efficiency can drop, because no process is 100% efficient. So is it actually more ecologically friendly?

I know it will take a while, but do you think on earth we will eventually not have enough space for life? Our population is constantly growing, we are already cutting down rainforests for stupid reasons. After a while, do you think we will just run out of room? I am not talking about us finding a way to live on the moon or a planet.

I want to talk at my daughters school to tell them to take the message home to their parents. This is a multi-cultural society and non-english speaking parents continue to live in their ignorance. We must get their children to pass the message to on to them. What suggestions are there out there? What have you done? Can you believe some people still hose their immaculate driveways every single day? When I say something they reply "Is my house, is my business." What do you say?

What can we do to stop global warming now? Scientest say that we have at the most 10 years before the damage is irreversable! and from my point of view we aren't moving on to stop this. So what i'm asking is do you seriously think we can stop g-warming before it's to late? and if so how?
