It will never happen. The question should be how can we reduce pollution to a reasonable level.

1. Invent a simple device which can safely extract energy from the universe (i.e. a dark energy extraction unit, or "other" device)
2. Switch chemical industries over to natural, biodegradable products which do not pollute the atmosphere
3. Use permaculture to clean up the existing mess
4. Use volcanoes for incineration of dangerous substances (except atomic pollutants)
5. Find a way to defuse nuclear waste
6. Switch to organic products and foods
7. Go oil free

Realisation must come first. Kids in school are already aware of the fact, that the planet needs to be saved from pollution. They in turn our teaching the elders. It will happen, awareness is coming. Each and every person needs to realise this and put in his or her own effort. Simplest thing to do is start planting trees.
So what are we waiting for , lets put this into action. Action is the need of the day.

Eventually, most tectonic plates get subducted, as India seems to be doing northward. Some trace elements of pollution may spew up from volcanic venting but most is
going to merge with the deeper magma flows. Happily,
new lands will emerge from Mid-Ocean fractures, and eons
later new life will evolve. Mankind and all it was will be but
an odd fossil or substratum of curious properties. Gods
will laugh anew.

God made the earth to be able to replenish itself. Rain, winds etc. Don't get caught up in this "global warming" fear mongering bullshit. Scientists say only 6% of human consumption effects the climate. And that every planet in our solar system is heating up, why? Because the sun is going through a normal cycle which it has been doing every 1,500 years since its existence. DONT BELIEVE THE CRAP GOVERNMENT TELLS U, ITS ONLY A WAY TO TAX U FOR A GLOBAL EMISSIONS TAX AND A GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT TAX!!!
