Aware with the rise of the sea level due to the global warming. Do you guys think that its worth the effort if we move the ocean water to desert and barren area accross USA, Africa, Australia, etc.

Does the ocean water will go back to the sea? from the condensation, or when it is absorbed back to the sea? etc? is it worth to do this to save the land?

thanks

I need to find an alternate energy source to operate our transportation systems, homes, factories, or businesses. Which one would you chose? (solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy, geothermal energy, or nuclear energy?)

At my high School in Southern California, we have a recycling club. We already have boxes in class rooms for teachers to recycle paper. We also have special trash cans for plastic and metal cans on campus.

I am getting sick of hearing about environmental problems and the lack of action being taken to correct them. Is this world going to lose it's ability to support life because of a handful of selfish greedy bastards? Worse yet, is everyone so brainwashed and complacent that they would allow this catastrophe to continue until it's too late?

When are we going to reach a breaking point and say "ok, things are pretty messed up now, I guess we should all band together and do something about it"?

I find it hard to believe that this isn't the number 1 issue on everyone’s mind. If people don't start doing something soon, we are, without a doubt, completely doomed. There will be no one to bail us out of this one. Don't say Jesus Christ is going to swoop down and save the day, that is a total pipe dream. There is no one to rely on but ourselves, and that is troubling, because if history has taught us anything, the people who have held the power have been blatantly irresponsible.

This was beetle like. Black in colour with two rows of small spike like protusions, orange in colour, toward the rear of the insect. Silver/grey underneath. 6 legs at the front. About the size of a large ladybird, maybe slightly bigger.

We found this outside crawling around on the roof of our car.

We live in London, UK and we have never seen anything like it.

Question is a bit off, because i know there IS plant life in some parts of the area, but i read about within quite a century of years the global warming will evaporate so much of the ocean that it will change it into a savanna, so why wait and try creating livable land now?
