My son's rock band need a space to rehearse. They don't have much money, so any room with plug sockets will do!

We often talk about songs being over-covered, or being poorly covered. Have you ever imagined a particular artist covering a particular song?

I would love to hear Sarah McLachlan cover "Wrapped Around Your Finger" by The Police.

I saw Motley Crue in 1989 in Roanoke, VA, and I am convinced to this day that I lost a small percentage of my hearing that night.

What I mean is, what song do you hate to love. I really don't like My Chemical Romance but I do like the song Teenagers.

"Forrest Gump" is probably one of my all-time favourite movies because of all the good music in it. I also like "Rock Star".
It's funny how older movies don't have any good popular music in them. These days, all of Adam Sandler's movies have pretty good tunes in them. I wonder if he picks them out himself?

I heard the Rolling Stones "Let It Bleed" in a commercial for something this weekend (don't even remember the product, honestly) and was quite saddened.

What do you think are some of the greatest Epic Rock Songs of all time? I believe that Achilles Last Stand is up there because that song showed how amazing Led Zeppelin was.

I was having a discussion with a friend last night about Michael Jackson, and it inspired this question.

No one that was alive during the 80's can deny the impact this album had on its fans or our culture, as I'm sure if you didn't get the jacket, and glittery glove and socks you know someone who did. The impact was beyond huge.

Fast forward 10 years to rumors and accusations of copious amounts of plastic surgery, odd behavior and child molestation. The "King of Pop", at least here in the States, had not only been dethroned but permanently exiled. It's tough to imagine any album he releases now to be embraced.

I think it's tough for us who lived through it all to get over everything that's happened since we witnessed it first-hand, but for future generations, will they be able to look beyond his actions and remember him the way he was once seen?

I'm a big fan of immoral technique and poetic Atmosphere (not that political but good).

I like the vegan hip hop movement as well.

I'm mainly looking for rock, rap, reggae, and anything else you might think is good.

I don't care if it's not in English. It can be in Germany, French, etc.

I've been looking for some new songs. If you know of any good groups, let me know.

Thanks.

Am I right to say that English language pop music from mainly the US and the UK has invaded and seeped into most of the countries in the world. Am I right to say that most of the people in this world listen to English language po?
