Yes. Kiss releasing a disco album in 1979. I suppose they got over that in the mid 90's. But a definite "jump the shark" moment.

I think 'Bugs' on Pearl Jams Vitalogy album did it for me. It seemed so contrived and stupid. About the same time they were playing this thing on the radio in 94, I remember hearing Eddie V said that he '...only worked with geniuses.'

That was the beginning of the end for me. I can't stand that band anymore.
