*scratches head* 80's? *worried look* That ain't the music I grow up on. Let me think... Sorry but I only know of country singers/bands from the 80's (it ain't my favorite era of country music either).
Alabama (I do still like Alabama, if they were still touring I would go and see them in concert.)

Pretty Hate Machine did come out in 1989, but it took people a while to fully comprehend its greatness. Seems like it got more play in the 90's. This helped me feel better about leaving out NIN, Jane's Addiction, and KMFDM. Also Lords of Acid is NOT an 80's band.
