I don't hear too much from the Deftones around here so it wasn't them, but back in my Pearl Jam days in high school, just hearing the opening 10 seconds of "Jeremy" made me want to throw things. I hated that because I absolutely loved the band, but radio had killed the song for me.

To this day I can't stand the song, and it's one of my least favorite by them. It came on the radio while I was out at lunch a little while ago and I immediately turned the station.

Did your favorite band have a single that got played to death? Can you listen to it now, or are you still sick of it?

Each member released an album of their own music, each to a different degree of critical and consumer success.

Are there any bands that you would like to see do this, where each member released a solo album, while the band remains intact?

Here's all I know, it from an Australian female singer of the 90's, she sung this song where she was in a room in a hose, she had her hair covering one of her eyes. That all I know if you have any clue let me know please.

She was sort of screaming in the song too.

There used to be all these amazing yet loud groups around during the late 80’s-early 90’s. Names like Husker Du, Jesus and Mary Chain, Mudhoney, Pu**y Galore and Royal Trux come to mind. Today it seems like the face of independent rock has moved more in the direction of critically acclaimed soft rock. Now it’s all about bands like Okkervil River, Feist and my favorite Clap Your Hands and Say BLAH. What happened to the noise?

They certainly aren't the first two bands in the history of music to release albums without the support of a label, but they are very well-established and respected by fans, insiders and their fellow musicians.

Do you think this will start a trend in the industry, or will it be just a fluke? And if this is the start of something permanent, what does this mean for the labels and for the business itself?

some people think that when you reach a certain age, it's time to step off stage. others believe that the artist should die doing what they love best. what do you think and why? i think that if you want to rock out, rock on out then. rock til you drop.

They are woeful. There music is terrible. The guys voice makes you want to kick the radio. Yet, they get so much airplay. Are they really that popular? Am I just not getting it? I think they are about as far as commercial rubbish can go. Your opinion....
