no way. rock and roll IS music, other stuff is ok, but it doesn't have the same meaning, soul or passion if you know what i mean. it has depth because there are so many sides and angles you can look at it. people percieve rock music as just noise. well, if you think about it, everything is noise. the words that come out of your mouth is noise, piano playing, taping your foot, whistling.... its ALL noise.
back to the point......ROCK ROCKS!!!!!!!

Rock n' Roll will never die, all the time we have to put up with the soppy boy bands, girl bands, wanna-be-tough-guy rappers, wanna-be superstars and manufactured bands (these are the real noise pollutionists), there'll always be a place for those artists who can write there own songs and play their own instruments and leave you breathless after a live set. It's only noise pollution if you don't understand it. It's got balls and doesn't care if it pushes boundaries, and it constantly changes with the times. It's no phase, it doesn't conform to fashion, it doesn't care if it's PC or not.
