the english language is something bizarre..knight,night, and to, two and too...and the word three should be tri..hence a trio singing group.i think they tried to make the english language as easy as they could but by doing so they made it more difficult...no wonder non-english speaking people have a hard time with it.

Say you own a company and I own a company. If I want to talk about both of our companies, how would I say it? I want to say "This will provide an increased level of security for our customers, as well as protect our company's reputation." But apostrophe s is not right, since I'm referring to both our companies. Is it companies's or companies' or what?

Understand that I'm one of those in the office who others ask about spelling questions. I pride myself on being a good speller.

There are certain words, though, that I ALWAYS have trouble with.

My number one Nemesis? Rhythm...and I had to look it up to make sure I spelled it correctly just now!

Oh, by extension, this means I always have trouble with the music group Eurythmics too (but I looked it up!). lol

What about you? Do you have a "mental block" on certain words too? It's okay if you misspell your word, we're all friends here!
