Its not a good thing to be conceited. Self confidence and self esteem is one thing, but being conceited usually means you're stuck on yourself and you think everything about you is perfect. Some people are conceited about their looks, some about their money or their knowledge. Conceited people are usually not enjoyable to be around.

Might best be described as excessive pride in one's appearance, intelligence, wit, knowledge, physical abilities, possessions, acquaintances, or connections. A good thing? It's tedious for others. For the conceited person it may feel great, but often, those who appear conceited are masking feelings of inferiority.

It's a bad trait. It means that you're vain. Listen to Carly Simon's "Anticipation," a song from, ironically, "Anticipation." Listen to the words regarding the man with the hat and ascot (a type of scarf). His attitude defines it perfectly. The answerer here's opinion: It's a great song, but it got "run in the ground" in the 70's! Gad!

go to dictionary.com, and being conceited is not good. basically the best synonym i think is egoistic. basically the same thing. Very interested in yourself, and not really anyone else. Thinking you are the best, and nobody compares. stuff like that.

To much make up. Everything looks so defined. Ex. your eyes seem to stand out becasue they are lined so much. Less defining features may create a softer, nicer look.
