It means use for 30 minutes, twice a day. So you would use the first time in the day for 30 minutes, and the second time in the day another 30 minutes. Totaling and hour of use for one day.

Whatever you are referring to, the sentence means what it reads. If you need an explanation, you need an education.
As far as asking a grammar Q, it would be proper to use the English language to ask it in the first place.
I have no problem with comp. short-forms, but the use of "is it means....." shows total incapability to communicate with proper words or 'grammar'.
Yes - you have to 'use' whatever 'it' is twice a day for a period of 30 minutes. The instuctions couldn't be clearer !! There is nothing in the wording to indicate anything else, therefore the Q is unnecessary !!
I do go on, but illiteracy on Y!A is rampant and it is not being duly noted. Will Y!A ever 'clean up' this junk ???

Two times for 30 minutes each. Are you using whitestrips? I just read the box of the crest ones and that was the instructions.

just what it says: TWO TIMES PER DAY, 30 mins per time. I assume this is medication related? If so, it's no wonder you are confused...they are sometimes not very good with printed directions.
Good Luck.
