I teach 2nd grade. The principal has decided that most of the teachers at our schol must change rooms to fit the Baldridge program. I have no chance of not moving. This involves moving a lot of material. I'd estimate between 50 to 60 xerox sized boxes. My dilemma is I was assigned to a smaller but workable room. I also would like to team with another teacher next year. She and I are separated by a third teacher who has been assigned a very small room with VERY little storage. Should I switch rooms with the teacher who is separating us or keep the bigger room.

Ok... so now we cant ask children to raise their hands when we ask a question according to a Gov watch dog.

Question: In the UK is it too late to save education? Why must we dumb down teaching techniques? WHY THE HELL DO FELLOW EDUCATORS IN THE UK SIT BACK AND TAKE IT WHEN THE BENEVOLENT TONY KEEPS PUTTING HIS OAR IN?

FOOTNOTE: im out of here! im heading to the USA where they only have to deal with half the stupidity and red tape and i can teach a NON S.O.L subject With out big brother telling me how to do it!

So long, fairwell, goodbye.

ps, To all those liberal educators out there... rot in the mire of your own making! Now you have the educational utopia you deserve, a nation with an average IQ of 10. WELL DONE!

I'm an online Instructor
Every Friday we have trainings
I'm avoiding it, because I feel really embarrass, when it's my turn to do the drills.
when I get really nervous, I stammer and make mistakes. I mispronounce words and suddenly, I feel like I shouldn't be teaching at all. Though I've been working there for almost a year, this is the first time they have a training for the instructors. I don't know why, but I make a lot of mistakes during training but when I am teaching my students it's not so often. Gesh! I feel so embarrass! Suddenly I feel everything is my weakness. Suddenly I feel like I don't know how to read.

I feel like hidding from everyone.

I am wondering what the courses are like, what your typical day consists of, the benefits and drawbacks, the education level requirements, the state testing requirements (Oklahoma), etc. Any information and/or websites that you can provide would be extremely helpful. I appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you in advance.
