I already have a Bachelor's, but I want to go back and get certified to teach in Texas. Does anyone know of any financial aid that is available for future educators? I imagine with the need for teachers there should be more than just loans for us who want to teach. Can someone help! Please!
Thank you

If you switch your attention to the "homework help" section of this site you will no doubt recognise some of the work set by you for your students to do on their own at home. By asking Yahoo Answerers to help them are they "playing the game" or do you care?

I am graduating soon from university in the States. I want to teach English or Spanish in Beijing. I am just wondering if I should find the job when I am in China or I should begin to look for it now. Can someone give me more detail about what to expect from this experience?

Many thanx!

I recall starting drum lessons around 3rd grade, but I'm wondering if we can/should try to start our sons into music earlier than that. I don't want to push them into anything, but I think they'd enjoy it and I think there are a lot of benefits to music education (I know I got a lot out of it).

My 10th grade honors English students have been researching different world cultures and must present their information in children's book form, in a way that children will understand. 20% of the grade is style, but that includes appealing to the young audience with storyline AND wording as well as the illustrations.

Many are concerned because they are not artists. I have told them they may recombine images from online, magazines, etc. so the images are their own, but some have asked if they could have others draw pictures for them. I'm considering it, as long as the students also provide a rough sketch of what they want their friends to draw to show the ideas were theirs (plus they have to give credit to the illustrator).

The point is really the research and the writing, and the pictures have more to do with the "publishing" and presentation aspect. So is it fair for them to farm out the illustrating?

It is a conversation class in which students need practise their English (as a second language). They are actually good at English. I need a conversation topic that would have them awake and enjoying. By the way, they are professors.
