I'd like to tell my 3 years old niece about the story of Snow White in plane, short and simple English words. Would someone please help?

Here's mine version which based from http://www.kidsfreesouls.com/snowtale.htm

Once upon a time, there is a little princess named Snow White. Her skin is as white as snow. The Bad Queen has a magic mirror. She asks, "who is the most beautiful person in the world." The mirror says, "Snow White." The Bad Queen gets mad and gives her an apple. Snow White eats the apple and falls into sleep. One day, the prince sees her and kisses her lip. Magically, she wakes up and they live happily ever after.

I know, I write terrible, plus it's all in present tense. That's ok. It's better for her to understand. :)

I have a Master of Fine Arts degree (M.F.A.) in painting which qualifies me to teach art on the university level. - so I have experience with teaching.
During the last year I have twice been asked if I am an 'English-As-A-Second-language' teacher (here after refered to as 'EASL' ).
For example - one time I was having my nails done by a lovely young woman who was new to America and who was trying to learn English and she and I got to talking a bit and I found that I was doing a a good job of communicating and I even drew a quick line drawing to illustrate the word she was trying to understand (remember I am a painter so I draw all the time),
Well, while all this was happening this other lady next to me turned and asked :

"Do you teach EASL ?"

I said no I did not - then she said :

"Well you'd be good at it -I teach EASL"

Then she told me that you don't have to speak the language(s) that aren't English.

So how could I do this ?

(A lack of independant thinking )
A previous answerer mentioned we are more advanced now because more people are educated than in the past....
But the quality of education has sliped dramaticaly in recent years, medothology and aproach and organisation and simply just working anything out seems to be missing from education.
I recently took gcse maths at my local college, the percentage of my grade to get a pass was about 30 % from memory, this is a joke!!!
My education im now 26 was discusting compared to the gennerations past say a 45 year olds education, the methods taught to us and the ability to weight qusetions up gather info and come to an inteligent conclusion has slipped.
Why is quantity more important to us as voters than quality?
The loss of Independant thinking is the essence of my question!

I teach English to students of high school level in China. They like to learn songs. I remember several from my earlier days, but I'd like a wider selection that will help jog my memories.

Is not only christian teaching ,is the fact that MANKIND in its most primitive forms harbour a belief in a Supreme Being, Spirit, God , the Mystery, we have in us the capacity for Spiritual beliefs ,wchich goes with the Esence of us as humans beings in a spiritual self, so my belief is; that creationism and evolution must be thaught , why should the students learn only ONE side of the story? Since God was re-moved from the schools ,the vandalism, killings, and illeteracy is RAMPANT! Black and Hispanic children have been beat up badly by the public schol system , the churches must do something to educate these children ,as most of their parents have a religiuos belief and cannot afford the cost of the private schools, the public schols are a breeding ground for the addh, pills, humilliations, and not teaching the [hispanics, blacks] the children the same! I know! I speak from experiences and the consequenses of this hate to God or religiuos beliefs ,racism, from a racist system.

I am 17, and obviously I have no college experience, but I am very talented in art; and it definitely shows. Whenever a friend or acquaintace or a friend of a friend needs/wants something drawn or painted, they come to me. And they are always very impressed with the results. I do mostly drawing and painting.
I'm wondering if I have a shot at teaching art classes in schools. Some of you may be thinking, "Why not go to college FIRST then get a job teaching art?" Well.... that's kinda the problem there. See, I have to pay my own way through college, and I'm looking into my options for earning good money, mostly in the art field. I think that's my best prospect so far.
So, do I need college training first to teach art classes, in either private or public schools?

I would like to know from other teachers how they put the Aim, Do now, and Homework in their Spanish/French classes. I have thought about the following, but would like to hear more suggestions:

Aim / Objetivo / Objectif:
Do now / Hagan ahora / Faites maintenant:
Homework / Deberes / Devoir:

Thank you.

1) Do you remember our discussion of the word, ‘social’ ?

or

2) Do you remember our discussion of the word, ‘social?'

I'm referring to a class discussion of the word social. Do I still include the question mark within the quote? I suspect number two is correct, but I'd like number one to be. Number one looks better.

Your input (knowledge) is appreciated !!!
