I am a Charles Dickens fan but my favorite is David Copperfield. There is another somewhat new book I read in the spring called Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Zafon. I am looking forward to future novels by this author.

Hmm, I think you should be more specific on the genre but I would say "Rainbox Six" by Tom Clancy was a blast to read.
