Studying Abroad

Ok, Im a chemical engineering major that will be transferring from a C.C. to either one of these two universities. I have always wanted to attend UCLA but its too heavily populated. I also always wanted to see other parts of the U.S. and USF would allow me to do that.

If you were in my situation, which one would you choose and why?

Ok, I found out that USF has a 5 year program for chemical engineering undergrads, this means that after senior year, I take graduate level courses for a year which the advantage is that the courses are double counted and after Im done with that, I have a Masters, UCLA has no program like that.

If in my situation, would you go to USF?

Can someone plz specify what are the tests that I am supposed to undertake after completion of +2 to get y way selected into MIT, I heard that I must take some SAT(scholastic Aptitude Test) and TOEFL but are there any other tests that are necessary for me to undertake. Please do specify about the tests that I must take. How can I apply for physics department after I have completed my (+2) I'm especially interested in mechanics. Is it that I have to write a letter giving them my scores in those tests and they decide on whether or not in giving me a admission? Please tell me if you know anything about MIT on how to apply to it for admission and tests that are to b taken. I want to join there as a graduate.

I want to double major in secondary education and history and I really want to travel the world.Next year for my senior year if high school i will be an exchange student in Switzerland and I will see a lot of cool european countries hopefully adn I know I definitely want to join the peace corps after college but in college I reall want to spend a year abroad in Germany since I am very interested in WWII and the holocaust but I also want to spend a semester at sea so I can see part of the world. I reallly really want to do both.Has anyone else done both or know someone who has?If I have to spend only a semester in Germany in order to do the semester at sea I think I would.ANy advice?

Hello,

I've missed the application (decided to) of the FALL Semester in US..Canada.

Now my only choice is to get into the SPRING (Winter) Semester.


Btw I had asked a question before.. but that was wrong ..Sorry.. I meant Spring Semester ( the one that starts in around Jan~Feb )



I wanna know, for me (an international student) is there any disadvantages of getting in the SPRING Semester?

im 15 and im planning to move to frankfurt germany and live with relatives. for my grade 11 year. I've heard that grade 11 in germany would be harder then it would north america because they teach some college courses in grade 11 and 12. if I move I would probably have to repeat grade 10 and learn some german. if the education is the same then i would go to grade 11 instead. I have above average grades mostly c+. which grade should I join cause grade 10 is the end of middle school and gymnaisum schools start from 11 - 13. what should I do

I am working in the Human Resource Department of a bank. My job involves checking the authenticity of the information that applicants declare on their CV/ job application. It's not so difficult for me when I check there home qualifications and working experience, for I am familiar with our home country administration system and regulation about signatures/ seals, etc. However, I find it a big challenge for me to check some overseas degrees/ working experience of the candidates. The supporting documents are strange to me and I'm afraid I cannot know if the candidates are cheating. In a recent case, the applicant wrote in the CV that he studied in University of Webster, but during the interview he gave us feeling of uncertainty and untrustworthiness. If the degree is forged, accepting him will bring big trouble. Could you pls tell me a way to avoid this?

I can't stop feeling homesick, even though I am at 'home' right now. But this isn't where I feel at home. I believe that my real home is in Scotland, where my Dad lived before moving to Oz. I've been there several times and I miss it so much. I feel so depressed and alone living in this tiny country town and want to move to the UK when I finish school. I am so sure about this, but don't want to hurt my Dad. I am in my final year of school, but am finding it difficult to concentrate on my work because I feel so alone. I am definately going to go back to the UK next year for a gap year before university, but how can I tell my dad I want to go to university in the UK? I just feel that there is nothing for me in Australia.
