For about 75 years the United States has been the most important country in the world. That might change in the 21st century, but it is still true today. The US has less than 5% of the world's people, but it produces nearly a 1/3 of all the wealth, nearly half of all scientific discoveries, and a dominant fraction of the media and communications. The USA has profoundly influenced virtually everything in the modern world, so it is important for people from around the world to have a good understanding of the culture of the USA.

In addition, American universities are well funded, have outstanding facilities and faculty and are regarded worldwide as being of very high quality. Nearly a half-million international students a year come to the US to study.

There are many other reasons why it might be a good idea for a foreign student to come to the USA to study, but those are some pretty compelling reasons.

The US Universities is reputed to be advanced when it comes to research and educational innovations. These are just few reasons why they would want to go to America.

The US Universities are also maintaining faculty that is multi-awarded in Nobel Prize, Pulitzer etc. etc.

But of course it is expensive to study, for you have to pay their good teachers very well.

They want to study in the US, so when they go back home they have a qualification that will land them a good job anywhere.

But of course, regardless you studied in the likes of YALE or HARVARD or not so well know unis in the US, you are still assured of a good education. THAT IS.... if you would become a good student.

OR, you can gain employment in the US afterwards but u must belong to the "creme de la creme" group.
